#Parries not interrupting bosses

Woah that is crazy lol, I never knew about that
The sword can do it too...thers one of the points on the skill tree that gives chance of knockdown
Amd yes this affects bosses
The execute damage is so freaking high too
It makes smites obsolete
Its become my main damage source
Skewer the boss
Do you think it trivializes the bosses?
Not at all
I had to do this
The hp was grey
Was the only damage that was getting across that grey bar
Requires some aim and distance
Yeah that grey hp bar thing is a bit weird I don’t understand it
And patience because it doesnt always knockdown..its a chance
When armor is hoguer that the danage most your attacks can do their health is Grey indicating that you cant do any damage to them past 1
That play style seems pretty fun, I should try out shield if I can get one
So basically you rely on heavy attacks and executes to even hurt them because anything else bounces right off and does no damage

That seems a little annoying in my opinion
I mean yes but makes it so i can't just auto attack spam untill they die
Heavy attacks are slow
And im not using any armor so being hit ONCE is a desth sentence most the time
Makes the game hard
Which is good
I have to perfectly time those heavies
Or get a knockdown to execute
Or trow my birds with oceldas 3 to force stagger and potentially get a stagger execute
Yes, the positive side of that is you have the fight the enemies in a different way

I’m just making this post since I want to see if it would be fun, I think it would be
but definitely keep that stuff in the game because that is fun too
that’s part of what made Warframe fun which is being overpowered 🌝
Oscelda also stuns
Halberd do a lot of damage
The stun gives a massive damage multiplier to the next hit
Hence why I hit so hard sometimes
Thats a full spirit with a spirit spear
And that spear was rank 8 at the time
And it still wrecked stuff
Thats another way I approach boses

I knock them down...execute...stun...heavy attack twice...roll away
Males sense for boses to be staggered a little after being parried
Or stunned
Bosses dont get interrupted at all by me stunning them
The ability continues
While they are stunned
Look at the blue circle closing in while the mf is petrified
And then he snaps from being staggered on the ground to the slam animation
That’s pretty strong
It would be but I had to run away because the ability kept going even tho boss was already stunned
I’m saying they shouldn’t be stopped at all so you can keep parrying the bosses attack chain
If i had stayed to do damage while he was staggered I would of died

Yes, the idea is to have that sekiro play style in the game for only bosses
I feel like I’d have fun with that but I don’t understand the entire game so I don’t know the negatives of that being added
The negatives are that the blocking animations are not fast enough
Thers a delay between pressing the button and actually blocking or carrying...a big delay
So you can easily get punished hard as soon as ir done partying one attack because thers a long animation
Yeah I noticed, sometimes it doesn’t even work for me. I’m sure it’s something they are working on over time

Yeah true, they should let you cancel that animation

There is also the riposte attacks that you can do immediately after you parry which do very high damage and if you had to parry over and over and over to barely survive while you sweat your ass off...you can never actually attack or use the riposte after parrying
I did mention the riposte attacks, you could use them when the boss’ chain is over
Or use them in between the boss’ attacks and cancel it before the boss hits you
The long sword riposte is quick enough for something like that
The boss chain is never over..it gives you that idea because they get constantly staggered by us ....their attacks are random..thers no pattern..they just mash your head in untill you die XD
Maybe that is true, but I know that some attacks have crazy long windups that you could attack in between
Which they are very good at as they stagger you as well which can let them hit you multiple times in a row
Since you cant move while staggered
Iv died this way
Get hit once.. staggered...get hit second time...before I can dodge away....dies
maybe this could be a pact or something where parries don’t interrupt enemies but build up a ton of stagger
