Journal Shouldn’t Be Blank

After finishing the beginning quests a lot of players myself included for a time are confused as to why the journal is blank. It had been a great guide and then dumps us to our own devices.

Definitely feel the Journal should say “Now go forth and explore envoy…” or something along those lines so that players aren’t left wondering if its bugged/broken or missing something to prompt “the next quest”.

I agree, I thought the game broke after I finished my first quest. I like your idea of there being a note or something that says " Go fourth and explore envoy" I think it would really add a much needed detail

Doubly so for players who might not join the discord/other socials to quickly learn that that’s just how the journal is after the beginning quests

+1 i had a friend try preludes 10 and drop it because their journal was empty so quick and they didn't know what to do next

I just think alot of people arent use to a game that is still building its bones and is this much of an open world. I can understand the frustration but the main goal of this game is to explore.

yes, but they thought because it was an early access game that they had run out of content already and it wasn't worth sticking around yet. if it had a note like "go forth and explore" that would be at least some indicator that there IS stuff to find

Personally, I want them to add a "Pen" tool to the game so I can draw on the map and journal. We should be allowed to document our experiences in game for immersive reasons.
