The following Compendium Totems do not drop at all:
-Shield Throw Damage Duck.
Totems dropping but not showing in inventory has been fixed with P12H8.
Incorrect Totem Rarities have been mostly fixed with the Thawtide patch, GS rat "The Thief" still has a common song but rare border.
Thank you Devs are all the hard work.

Im sure i've seen those aswell but i will check my inventory and then look for them again and come back.

The totems that "drop" but don't appear anywhere in your inventory, also do not show as existing in the compendium.

If you go on the Totems page, you can use the links to the animals to see a list of all the Totems for all weapons, If it doesn't say Bugged, it means it should be dropping in-game at this time. And if it says unobtainable then, it's those we have in this thread.

why would someone even use this when the additional damage from heavy attacks already bypasses armor

the defense reduction stuff really isnt good with how defense works in this game; unless you are at the CUSP of dealing damage, its either gonna do nothing or barely increase your damage at all
I'd rather get a flat damage bonus, they tend to have higher values anyways

I was under the impression that since armour is a flat 1 to 1 damage reduction, bypassing armour is basically the same thing as flat damage.

It is, but flat damage works on enemies that have no armor, and tends to come in larger amounts

Alright guys, i have a theory that any alt animal that doesnt appear in the compendium actually drops, but just doesn't appear in the inventroy, apart from the ones already listed above we need to confirm the following:

Just an update on this theory, I've yet to see any report for totems fitting that list. By this point, I'd expect we'd have seen one or two pop up in bug reports and such.

No some enemies have none, mockaries have none for example, pretty sure archers ...
Haven't tested mockeries yet but at level 36 it seems archers have 10 armour, not much admittedly

Unsure if the hotfix broke them or i just didnt notice it before but this morning i have found 2 more with incorrect charming rarities:
-Polearm Squerrel "The Nimble" has Uncommon Song but Common Border.
-Greatsword Duck "The Ripple" has Uncommon song but Common border.

Still can't seem to find the two missing rats. For normal and great swords. Has anyone seen the shield alt duck?

The Thief exists for greatsword, the other one currently isnt in the game, the throw damage shield duck is also not in the game

Something else i've noticed after Hotfix 8, the animals that show the wrong rarities aren't consistent anymore, i've seen them having either the wrong border or wrong song, for example "The Highborn" i have seen with an Uncommon song and Common border and also a Common song and Uncommon border, the song and border never seem to match though.

Seems Thawtide patch has fixed the missing totems in the compendium, and also the incorrect rarities.
