There is a bug that happens when you smite enemies it greatly diminishes the damage done with your weapons and only gets worse when pairing with Tethrens first ability. It extremely annoying because I cannot smite unless I want to do 3-30 damage on my maxed out weapons. I know this is an issue many players are having and it definitely does ruin the gameplay experience not being able to use a core mechanic of the game. Screenshot's are before and after smite used (no abilities were used in this test)

Yeah this NEEDS to be fixed since it completely kills the flow of combat, and makes any smite builds utterly worthless.

As someone who uses a parry/smite build it completely kills the flow. I thought they were going to fix it this recent hotfix but no, it is still happening

are you using a wyld pact? and, have you noticed it happening on all smite colors or just the one related to the attribute for the pact?

I think it's a known bug, but, we're supposed to get an attribute buff for wyld pacts on attuned smite colors, but it's doing the opposite right now I'm told.

@pine raven It happens on Wyld pacts and Non-Wyld pacts wether it be the color I am attuned to or not, It happens any time I smite an enemy so I have just stopped using smite all together to keep it from hyappening
