I did post this as a bug but then I thought perhaps it’s a me problem and I’m doing something wrong.
When playing the flute in my nighthold nothing happens. I just have to exit the emote. Same thing happens out in the wild when playing for those little avocado statues. The UI shows that I played the correct note but nothing happens 🤷🏼♀️
Would have liked to be able to plant my flowers or at least check the place out if it’s full 😭
Anyone else heard of this? Thank you!

Are you using keyboard numbers, numpad, controller? If using numpad then make sure numlock is on. Also double check control settings because there are 2 lots of settings for keyboard and controller.

I’m using controller but also tried doing it with my keyboard on the numpad to see if it was a controller issue and I got the same (lack of) result :(

i assume u mean the music ones that are tales objective.
when u emote next to it does the statue reassemble? should repond the same as if interacted ..

Unfortunately, I don't think the numpad works for these note puzzles. There are at least two different ones in the game, so first, you need to talk about which it is. This puzzle is very confusing. Took me literally a week to figure out how to do all the types correctly. I shared my screen in discord and a friend talked me through it.

So it’s both the emoji that sends you to the gardens and also any avocado statue out in the world. I haven’t tried tales in a while so can’t confirm if jt works for those, it does work for playing music to the animals out in the world.
It visually appears to register that I have pressed the correct button, yet nothing happens and the sheet music score just repeats over and and over. Apologize for not being clear enough

Like I or someone else said, the numpad does not work (it might if you remap the keys in setup). When it says 5, it means the number 5 on the keyboard above the R on the keyboard. For the controller it uses the keys that are next to each other, the X, Y, A, and B I think. Also some trigger or something (I don't use the controller).
