Would be cool if soulframe was the first game to go out of the box for it mage weapons.

i need spellbooks
i need magic gloves that allow me to cast by throwing up gang signs(and once max level you dont even need the handsigns)
i just need anime depth varity in this now bland magic system

There are wristcasters in the game as well, if that's of any interest, Envoy!

Yeah, the wrist casters are secondary weapons too, so if you don't like staves you can roll archery or melee and then run the wrist mage as a backup. (Or treat your secondary as you main and roll melee or archery as backup?)

Do the wrist casters combat arts share with staves?

winged lion
#

they do -- they're both considered magic weapons

#

there are two wrist casters and three staves in the game, making for 5 weapons total -- which will give you 25 arts points to spend

#

(granted, one of the staves is founder-only for the time being)

So is one of the wrist casters

Right, so it is. So only 3 weapons total for F2P folks. So 15 arts points is their cap.

#

I hope they add more soon.

#

(I'm also a mage in most games)

Spellbooks would be cool- imagine spellbooks that give you a boost to grace or courage to help minmax your build

#

Ya know, because reading

Yeah a buffing or healing weapon would be neat.

#

We have healing/buffing abilities, but having support on a weapon is an interesting concept.

I mean they could rip the Grimoire and some of its effects straight over and we could have our first utility weapon outside of flyblades
