I've played Hades 2 recently, and having a handy reminder of what things I need farm, and how much of it I have until I have enough is a great QOL feature.
Right now I'm farming for colors, and I hate going back to the Nightfold in order to see if I have enough.
We have Orlick, he is a scribe. We have a journal, it has things written on it. We can bookmark itens in Verminia and Tuvalkane, and their material progress could be recorded in our journal.
It could even be explained in game that we asked Orlick to keep track of it.

Let us select this as an active quest so our sparrow actually goes to our waypoint while we're hunting those particular materials.

I also love the idea of justifying about a million QOL features as your scribe doing stuff for you?

Oh, yeah, Orlick just started tracking which weapons you've already crafted and maxed. He noticed you crafted the same weapon 4 times and got concerned about the material waste.- Soulframe redtext #1

+1 please it would be so nice to just say pin a couple crafting recipes and then track the total amt of materials you need, and then once you craft it take it off the pins (I don't think any crafts we have rn with tuvulkane necessitates repeat crafts, does it?)

I still haven't figured out how to craft cloudquell potion, but maybe it could be differentiated behaviour with equipment crafts auto unpinning, while consumables don't?
