The Wazzard studied the wevetwood in life, so perhaps Verus represents something to do with that... an alignment with nature, or with the study of language (especially since he's now studying the Silistyl in his undeath, so study of language was a huge hobby for the Wazz)

We know that customization is far from complete. And DE plans on things like bird armors being swappable. So, it's not unthinkable that they'll also make things like ephermas be something that can be seperately attached, or bestitched.

Ok, big lore theory. The Dale seer, might be something like the omen beast of change/rebirth/reclamation. it's the seer that essentially revived us and allowed usto be "reborn" back as an envoy, relaimed by alca. to change who we are

As for Gwylen... may be just a placeholder until such time as "Aureli" becomes a more relevant origin, or perhaps Gwylen's design originates from Aurel but ours is specifically a Dendrit approach ? Hard to say

Hi guys, I'm trying to find crypt keys, I know that they are obtained by killing certain enemies and I always see the key drop on the ground and pick it up. When I opened the inventory the key is not there and when I go to the crypt I cannot open it. Does anyone know what it could be?

Sorrry on the delayed response, but are you sure you're picking up "crypt keys" and not "key"? Regular keys drop from enemies that are around a chest, and usually the key is used for that, vs the crypt keys, which drop from higher tier enemies around the map

I've written this little theory while looking at my weapons today. I noticed that the narvalla and the espadarte are of cassid origin, considering the accent of the mestra, I think that cassia might be this universe's equivalent to Spain or Portugal which have a history of sailing to distant colonies and the rapier being popular in Spain. I found some oddly high up and how to figure out how to get up and close enough to them to capture them. The Moaners are Ode'n machines designed (and their installation overseen) by an Ode'n Medis named Sangal.

They're currently understood to be primarily a terraforming device - just as the Ode'n Mistrel renders the air fit for Ode'n lungs, so too do the Moaners render Alca's waterways into Ichor (the basis of all Ode'n life)

I thought moaners were the metal item with a debuff around it? I thought I had a quests to kill 3 moaners and it was those.

the moaners are the tall machines constantly spewing ichor that you break by destroying their eyes

the minstrels are the smoke-emitting barrels that you sometimes find in ode outposts and encampments

I still don't really get Ode stuff. So they conscript people right? Wouldn't that mean that many of the Ode are not the same race?

Unless they go under some sort of modifications physically so that they can only breathe the stinky blue gas

At the very least its implied that the ode has done this before with different worlds. And I see no reason why they wouldn't also have people from said worlds

This is one of the big questions about the Ode yeah! I hope we find out more at Tennocon or maybe in P16...

So basically we don't know exactly what Ode physiology is like, we do know that some are humanoid as we see the Torque Inquisitor's face in her concept art, and the face of Gruulseekers/Scouts and Nimrod in-game

But the non-scout sinecure and Synod have entirely mechanical arms, and the helms of the Sinecure are technically empty if you peer down the top of them (might just be a gamedev thing though rather than lore)

The Ode do have conscripts, such as the Forgetfire and Tempest legions (conscripted 'bluebloods', presumably Envoys just like we were conscripted as a Tempest) - and also regents, like Deora before we free her. So much like Half Life's Combine, one might expect the Ode forces to include some element of races they've conquered but we have no confirmation of anything like that yet

The only confirmed alien being so far we've seen, other than the Ode in general, is the Rovgot Wyrm and its offspring:

"In its ruin, corruption flows; a host of creatures from distant stars. They scuttle from ichor basins, squirm from constellation maps."

I will say the juxtaposition between the two universes DE has made is funny. The Ode wouldn't last a day in WF's universe and us envoys probably wouldn't even be able to kill a pair of grineer grunts

But I do find myself massively enjoying the more consistent lore/universe of soulframe

Everything just clicks together more nicely and I think its cause they are going in fully with a plan to begin with when it comes to the lore and story they want to tell

This is idea i am going to present is not ever going to happen.

What if they add a fish/whale swimming below where we walk in the nightfold. Seems small at first. But slowly it gets closer to the surface. Getting larger as it does. Just to lay on its side with it's giant eye watching us, following us as we walk. Just to dive back down again. Spoiler for warframe: ||(Similar to the man in the wall that appears in our ship in warframe.)||

Some times we can see it leap out of the water at a distance. Showing us all to well that he can leap out and swollow us whole if he wish to.

Style of the fish/whale would be fitting of the magical creatures the pacts are.

Maybe we unlock it through a story/pact. Like the wolf we get. Maybe it has always been there. As the story progress it slowly reveals itself in the depths.

What If we combine a Angler fish, With a Koi & electric Eel? As a style for the Fish...

General idea. Big fish. Big Wiskers it stuns it's prey with. When Wiskers are relaxed they act like hair in water. But the fish can control the wiskers as if it was a another limb, like a Tail. Edge of the Wiskers act much like a Electric Eel. Both in how it can move but also allowing Fish to stun it's Prey.

I can't draw. Just placed some Vectors around a Koi i found. Then added some long wiskers. added some Shadows for some Depth.
Things that need to be done, that I will never be able to.
Add Scales, Enlarge the fins on the side, Enlarge the Fin at the back, Add Texture for the Fins, add Color, add mouth. Get the Depth correctly... (Nothing I can do)

Feel free to steal, add or do what you want with this. 😄
