been fighting the bear for 2 hours and despite knowing all of his attacks, being able to parry and dodge his second set of claw attacks hit it (the one where he poisons you) and it just insta taps me wether it hits me or not...

I beat him with the Royal Tines short blades. It took my third run.

I dodged and threw my weapon. I also maxed into perfect throws, so that probably helped. Make sure to use your "soul catching" ability thing to pull the light off of his collar.

On release I died like 10 times to it(the armor stats were not working) it used to combo poison and a stagger and you'd insta die lol

It still combos that. you just have to keep distance/dodge just right. I died to the spines that pop from the ground the first two times. Their hit proc is hard to gage. You can dodge the poison fairly easily as long as you aren't stunned. also, you can dodge the ground slam when he jumps in from off map if you jump and are a bit away from him.

Also, the Garren Rood pact has a great life steal ability that helps you keep your health up.

Aside from that when devstreams happen you (or your friends) can watch for additional invite codes through Twitch drops, or if any of you get a Founder's pack next Tuesday those also come with invite codes (and instant access for the person getting the pack)

it can be a bit buggy but if the fable isn't progressing, you might have to restart until you encounter nimrod a couple times while following the rat
or you may have to try to initiate it properly by going through the big tree south of fort curlail

I did just that actually, came out of the tree's little dungeon and something was talking to me, just explored the area that was highlighted on the map and released the rat, followed it for shits and giggles and it led me to that place, which had the little statue with no interact prompt. Power creep might get out of hand

Should cap the stats they give and just rearrange the stats for different variables. Don’t release so many, or just make some that are more cosmetic based. No need to rush them!

Unique single passives for each one could also bring a niche for each one which make the stats less to care about

Btw, if you want to complete your collection, be aware creating the Triune Talisman ate your three talisman parts and you'll have to re-farm those. It doesn't seem like the Circade is gonna go anywhere despite technically being an event, but just in case

The pup will help us break free in that version of the world and start restoring thing so to how they were before the ode rewrote history and destroyed the past||

From what I understand, Ode'n magic (Voltaics) is about harnessing and manipulating electrical energy. It can be channeled in many different ways (as seen by the abilities the Sinecure deploy) and I'm pretty sure it powers their tech as well. So...yes to both?

As they worship their constellations I'd say it's fair to assume they've been granted their own techniques the way one of Midrath's own celestial bodies, Iridis, dug into the earth and brought a spring of magick.

But since magick seems to be something that flows through planets as it is, it would fit their MO as a colonizing corruptive influence to just go and take it for their own maybe.

If the original use of the ode tempest pact is to bind the fey arm and use the envoys for their purposes (it mentions being trained) it seems like less of a deity granted one like Mora's hand and more of a pact forced upon them by Synod or someone of similar higher standing

The constellations the Ode worship stand for like destruction, justice and/or natural order, and the one forge where they make stuff and each ability the pact grants you seems to mirror that at least in a vague sense

This is all pure speculation off of the random blurbs of lore I've seen of course

Mora's Hand is just the conceptual power of Mora granted to a line of people.

I think a Wyld version could be fairly possible given that.

Perhaps even just a very early version of the pact instead of what was handed down.

Thrice-Bound Impidh is an Agari, basically a boss that you encounter on the overworld, and can kill for loot. They each have a 3-hour spawn timer between kills, but you can join a friend's party to take advantage of their Agari spawn.

Thrice-Bound Impidh drops a really good armor set so I'd recommend fighting it when you get stronger

Since Wyld is supposed to be the "Prime" parallel for Soulframe, I'd assume so eventually. Wylds are going to exclusive to Founders (for P12) until Founders ends and they add a Relic system. Every pact will get a Wyld version. I could see a Wyld Ode Tempest being something that's overgrown with vines and branches, just like they mentioned how Orengall would be like a werewolf themed thing. Maybe Ode Tempest could be like the entire arm is covered in Voltaic energy, with a sort of Lectric shield around the fey arm.

This is VERY early in the premise of the Wyld Envoys. They changed "Primeval" to Wyld. The Wyld Envoys were basically the first ones to use the powers of each starter Pact. The "Founders" of each pact, if you will. That's why the base pacts look like the armor for each Wyld Envoy, they're supposed to look like the Pact Founders. I know these probably aren't their names, but Tethren, Sirin, and Oscelda, are all Envoys who came before us, joined a pact with I can only assume are Sapphene, Mora, and Iridis respectively. But since these pacts were never held by any other Envoy before, they were just represented by a sleeve on the Envoy's armor, kind of like how Garren Rood, Bromius, and Orengall's pacts work. They're based around the Envoy's Armor that they unlock. Wyld Pacts are (I assume) meant to be what they looked like before they bonded with an Envoy.

They are the Ancestors of your Envoy. They are basically wandering Spirits that have unfinished business. Orlick with his scrolls and maps, Tuvalkane with the self-hatred of her craftsmanship, and Verminia with her stolen color vision. They wandered Alca, until your Envoy (their descendant) found them. Since they share blood, they can join the Envoy's Nightfold. The Nightfold is kind of a personalized Fey realm, a world between worlds, perfectly representing how the Fey would wander, but always bring their home with them.

Idea: we customize our Envoy's appearance through the book that the Inquisitor is holding. When we finish, she snaps the book closed, and it plays the cutscene that happens after you choose your Envoy's gender. It was just a neat idea i had, since the Inquisitor is basically carrying out our execution, they would be reading a book of our charges, and it would have a visual descriptor of our Envoy.

Anyone here remember the Pact Idols? Garren Rood still has a passive that "charges the Idol more quickly" which doesn't even work since Idols got removed. I remember gunning down Sinecure with Voltaic strikes using Ode Tempest's Idol, as well as the Fey Pact Idol completely obliterating annoying Ode Archers. It was fun, but what we have now definitely feels better.

the Feykin are meant to be the joining point between humans and the fey, Envoys of the natural world of Alca. Alora is the Fey embodiment of the land. "For Tethren, my femur. For Oscelda, my finger. For Sirin, a 'lash.(eyelash)" each aren't literally a piece of Alora, but rather a piece of Alca for Tethren, Oscelda, and Sirin. We were meant to be the next great Envoy, but through being Enthralled and manipulated by the Ode, our Envoy stole the Empress (the giant seed seen in The Waste Bear flashback scene) which i assume is the way The Empress would be reborn through. By imprisoning the seed (That we gave to Synod), the Ode imprisoned Alora/Aurora.

I'm so confused by the Bromius questline. I found the tree with the claw marks, then followed the rest of the broken trees to one with a small cutscene, then the tree fell over. After that I was left completely in the dark. A song track appeared for just a moment, but there's no guidance on where to go. The Foppet takes me to a purple dome with a glowing light, but I can't interact with it. I've also found other trees with claw marks and sap, but they're not interactable either.

Those did not show. The map was empty over the forest, and the Foppet/sparrow just guided me to the purple dome. I was able to interact with the trees again after the hotfix today, but I had to run around the forest holding Q until I saw the glowing sap.

Since Soulframe is still in pre-alpha I wouldn't say there's really a "meta" at the moment, but for the starting Pacts I'd personally go for Oscelda as the "best" one

The other starters can be acquired down the line so any choice is fine honestly

Sirin (rogue) isnt bad, but its better as a 2nd class to have fun and such

Oscelda lets you heal without potions and stagger enemies as well as a starting ranged weapon like Sirin, its very comfortable as first class

Tethren starts with melee and pumps itself up. You CAN throw the melee weapon and can be VERY powerful, some consider it "meta" cause of that, but it has a, imo, most boring start

I chose and personally recommend Oscelda
