is it just me or does the Avex have a longer than usual charge time for a bow

apparently the tradeoff for losing Arrow Rain and having a slower charge time is having piercing arrows?
I'm not sure how much that matters considering I'm using the AoE damage totem
why does my wevetseed does not stack? I have 5 yesterday + 7 i harvested today but the game display only 7, should be 12
When you pick it up it shows your total
As in you had 5 and gained 2 totalling 7

Im trying to hold Q and left click bond with wandering souls but its not letting me am I missing something?
I'm facing the same problem, I've restarted the game and nothing changes, once I do Q Left click I can't even use Q again (it's like permanently active)

it was slightly buffed recently, but the buff wasnt enough ;-; at least now you can stagger lock bosses with 2 ppl with the 2 ability
if i need 2 people to make the pact work, then it's not worth it
you can still get 2 finishers on bosses solo as well if you play well, which can deal quite a bit of damage, but with multiple people its stronger
also there is a place for support pacts in multiplayer (which ode definitely is)
all that happens is the only defensive skill , the blue one, runs out and then i'm stuck running around trying not to get one shot
and the stagger finisher thing is so insignificant dmg wise in cogah , you are better off atomizing them with tethren
Yeah, it’s not the best pact, but it’s also the only one that has decent combat mobility and to be fair it’s still usable
I wouldn’t run it in cogah though
play with more grace and it wont be, but comparing anything to tethren which can vaporize bosses no matter what it does anyway is kinda moot.
there is a bug though that the fix for atmos sphere is not fully implemented- some bosses now correctly dont one shot the charges, but some still do. #1504356528839327754 +1 here if you want that fixed

yea the fact that this ability is still charged based AND seemingly only gives dmg reduction and not invul stack is insane - means that a few hits and boom, have fun dealing with an insanely long cooldown
should prob be a duration based DR skill or something
i dont mind it being charge based, you should have 10 hits on a normal build vs normal enemies and it lasts 20 seconds (which generally isnt enough to deplete it unless you sit in a fire). the issue is bosses instead of depleting 2 charges per hit do like 6~ on some attacks which feels unfair
etheldred is coded correctly i think and only does 2 per hit at this point, so you get 5 hits worth of DR
i mean the current state of it wouldn't be an issue if you could smite everything but since you cannot, it makes it impossible in cogah
which unless you face tank is quite a bit
you cant smite impidh only pretty much, but that fight isnt super hard once you learn the patterns
also like maybe rework one of the passives to give a charge back to the 3rd skill on finisher or something, would be congruent with the design of the entire pact that builds high stagger on mobs
the one thing i can say though is you do entirely rely on weapons for damage, which can make runes have too much weight in high level play. but right now it is in a significantly better spot than before, although it is still bugged in multiple places like #1504866482268672152
the major benefit of ode is its basically a stagger first pact, which can make grace finisher builds very fun for cqc
from what i can see, seismor is more for like cc/stagger buildup? but then again, if it is indeed meant to do more dmg, who knows what the intent is
if it misses the damage instance it also misses the stagger, so its still a bit buggy
only time it ever dealt significant dmg was when it was bugged in the extreme opposite direction, basically one shotting anything in the game, in like p7 lol
like at this point just give me back the lightning shoulder gun haha
I would love to see a weapon for hand to hand combat, something like gauntlets or claws
technically you can do some hand to hand after you throw a melee, i think someone made a meme video about it, but it is very weak
but soulframe definitely has more of a setting to have a monk type moveset relative to warframe
I sometimes throw fists at the enemy, last time I did it, I did a lot more damage than I expected. Maybe a bug? Hope it stays though. Bullying ode is enjoyable

Guys, if I switch to different faction, will I lose the rank from my first faction? Also at the moment I can't talk to anybody from the other 2 factions, after i switch will the current faction also be unavailabe to talk to me?
You can switch anytime with no repercussions as long as you unlocked the faction by talking to the representative wearing their talisman once
what exactly is pull smiting? I know how you do it, but like what is it supposed to be? what is it supposed to do? how do you even pull smite an enemy? I read people saying that enemies glow but I have never seen that?

Just keep in mind too they are on respawn timers so if you've already found one (and rarely two) you gotta wait an hour.

Orst-III can drop with a craftwork level ranging from Stock to Legendary. Legendary having up to 8 Tempers which are random "perks" that add buffs to certain things like faster charge time, more stagger on heavy hits etc.

the goal afaik is some sort of breakdown system and reforging system letting you modify and maybe store things that you've collected

but after P15(iirc) weapons will be dropped by enemies in addition to being able to be crafted with fragments, so you will be able to farm randomly rolled weapons and then I am pretty sure some way of breaking down ones you dont want with Tuvalkane and modifying ones that you want to keep using the ones that you've destroyed

I imagine it will be such that you can run weapons that you find that will be very hard to get perfect rolls on, or destroy collected ones and put those towards crafting your ideal version
so ill have to craft/collect multiple copies of one weapon in order to get one with good rolls?

i have used 1 total virtue lith since it changed, to make a completely balanced build so i dont have to worry about requirements, but aside from that and pure virtue loadouts i refuse to touch this system

is an armor decrease by 5 a good amount? on average how much of a dmaage increase is that
if you do duelo and rely on bleed on hail you dont need armor strip, the bleeds bypass armor completely

afaik armour is a flat damage reduction not %. so if you do 25 damage and an enemy has 20 armour you'll do 5 damage
so thats an extra 5 damage then with what youre asking

you would level up the totem to max when you use it, then it would be like 12~
which does add up if you do an arrow hail of 10 hits
yeah I was about to say once it is levelled up it would be a bit more
but thats competing for the same slot as stuff like +35 damage to nearby enemis

like 1 modifier is "8% random critical hits at 8:45 pm on tuesdays" and the other is "you attack 25% faster"

i mean, its from the same devs of warframe. THE minmax game
these sort of games are all about the minmax for some players, thats where the majority of the fun comes from
like i dont think theres a game you can minmax harder in than warframe

but overkilling the boss by 5k damage as opposed to just 2k damage is a genuine dopamine generator to me

yep same here, my mindset is if I have nothing left to really do, why dont I try and push everything to its limits, kinda the same as 100%'ing a story game if that makes sense
I like fights where i actually have to deal with the enemies rather than just steamrolling thru anything
I think finding everything to minmax and the experimentation it takes to get there is one of the big appeals to me

my main thing in this game is just that most of the enemy AI is really simple so i try to nuke them as fast as possible

like, you can do 802103109 damage but a third of his hp will at max vanish and he enters a second phase

Not being able to see buff durations, ability durations, status effect durations, etc. is a bit annoying
now of course one thing I'd prefer they avoid is UI clutter that warframe has, with a trillion buff duration icons that pop in and out constantly

(wolf companion HP bars, wolf transformation timer)
But i also feel like if you get thrown all the info about everything, it'll just be warframe's minmaxing + balancing situation all over with regular players either getting nerfed to the ground or getting insanely strong for no reason

i do genuinely hope DE will invest more devtime into balancing the game, right now it feels like many pacts are being neglected and arent very coherent in terms of function, while others power creep very fast, especially in multiplayer

also harder to miss with it unlike everflame, since you are launching a projectile

just playing the game naturally and taking out Sinecure camps you should find a fair amount of them
No actual farming method though if youre trying to stack up an unholy amount x)
I don't feel like it is necessary, but this should be a good route (arrows are dungeons to reset the spawns).
It is thought of for the Orst, but they should also drop keys.
I cannot for the life of me make avex feel good

or i could do a loop and include the wraith of wastes but i noticed those lavender flowered chests often drop the keys too
how do I beat Discharged boss at Organ place?
Because he is regenerating all the time
you can use a potion called cloud quell or just out damage it. I think you can also cheese him by blasting him with the organ but that was just a rumor I heard

and after draining some hp he regenerates from lighting or jumping up

They're still being damaged so they don't have the Nightfold bug active, it just looks like night.
And they flintsmoked up and are probably on a pure Grace build, so they're oneshotting the bosses.

Unstabbing the trees is what reveals the map

Okay then yes your best bet for now is to wait for support. If it is an accidental (or otherwise) ban, it’s better to not discuss that.
However, accidents have and do happen. I will say if you have any third party software (overwolf, etc) it’s very possible it may have triggered something in the software for a soft ban.
If that is the case, support will be the only one to assist with that.

whats the point of the quicksilver and feybalt if the gildaur is half the price
used to be differences between the joineries. gildaur is still the one that goes to any weapon type but quicksilver feybalt and verite are weapon type specific

in this mission it says to hold Q to reveal wantering souls and then bond with lmb, but nothing is happening
if you found the wandering spirit and used Q+LMB on it, that's all that you need to do at that point
so just nothing obvious happens and it doesnt give me any confirmation that i did what it wanted correctly?
character does like a pulling animation but that's it atm

You can use dual blades tho.
They're just... the worst weapons in the game.
Get shafted by the flat DR pretty badly.
They can notably struggle against elites in later levels, just normal map.
Unless propped up with something or you only throw them.
In which case the single blades are better anyway.
Something should be done about their state.
In comparison with every other category, they're pretty bad.
Which is something that needs to get addressed eventually.
They do have the strongest spectre strike though which is fun! 240% damage mult vs. their base light attack 
I wonder if that's strongest relative to their own base damage or relative to the final damage of other weapons, lol.
Magic staff/orbiting flyblade is pretty nuts

I've become a heavy attack Seathorn enthusiast overnight. When aiming for the headshot, I just watch the line of 6 ode evaporate

I found myself going back to Royal Tines, but Emberaught is better than Flitsmoke on it
since stealth finisher sucks with dual blades because of how the damage is calculated
but smites are so much more reliable with it, since it more consistently triggers smite before the killing blow while still dealing the same DPS
Yeah, Sea and Sili both fight for first place right now.
Sili has stronger lights but Sea has an absurd max heavy scaling.
Enough that you cannot reach the cap right now without buffs.

Yeah this cap is absurd and I usually don't like heavy attack magic weapons but when aiming down sights for a pierce headshot it just does work

I would assume so yeah
I'm pretty sure that heavy is so high that you can't reach it right now even with maxed out Spirit though.
So you'd be better off chugging a Grace potion most likely.
As you'd be sacrificing damage from one source for damage from another, though the crit multi climbs high enough that it'd most probably come out positive.
You could test your current scaling by finding a crate, barrel, or other breakable object and using a charged heavy on it.

i like maxing sympathy on the pacts that don't have a natural way of healing, that healing is very nice

Personally, on all pacts I play, I max Sympathy, Voided, and all three of the +virtue nodes.
The full heal on smite, massive damage on smite, and moar stats outweigh any passives.

You can collect it from Weapon Racks as you’re exploring or purchase with Dracs from Avakot’s Goods.
Steel is also from weapon racks and Brass is from Polearm racks. Hope this helps!

Mirifuir is interesting, don't know if I agree with the range on their spells, the tracking from across the map through tight curves or the ESP they use to block projectiles from point blank taking no stamina damage while doing it because magic, but welp it's done. C rank. first try.
They also need to not be flat immune to smite.

I don't agree with the force of the tracking cus it often just forces a dodge, which can lead to unavoidable damage when anything else is also trying to damage you.
You can't really preemptively dodge it cus it'll curve sharply to hit you anyway.
One of the electric guy's projectiles outright just follows you and can turn 180 several times.
his tracking is worse than the "flame-on" wizard, because those projos fizzle

any sort of shield should make you take poise damage if it's going to block around the entirety of your character (including the back like I just witnessed with an ode'n heavy shield bearer to one of orengals wolves biting from behind while it blocked my arrows from the front), otherwise make it function like a shield.

Not sure what you mean exactly, but Blitzel, Juniper, Maestro, and Avex are all pretty similar in their attunement ceiling compared to thistle or Starling which are lower

b. Going through quests and getting the basic level of exploration down will take you maybe 30ish hours. The full grind for getting everything? 150-200+ as of now
c. not RIGHT away, but soon after the beginning sequence, you can join up with friends. Again, the big quests are very solo player tuned, so I'd recommend doing them on your own, but you can do whatever you want

Took a bit of a break from Soulframe around Preludes 13 and I’m looking to make my return now that we’re on 14.5.
When I stepped away I was account level 17, had all factions unlocked, and had gathered most (if not all) of the available weapons at the time. Played almost entirely solo the whole way through.
Coming back now and honestly feeling a little lost with all the changes, so I was hoping some of you could fill me in on what I missed — new mechanics, progression changes, systems reworks, what’s worth focusing first, what’s changed with virtues/prisms/weapons, etc.
Also looking for some fellow Envoys to play with. I’ve mostly been solo up until now and figured it’d be cool to finally experience the game with others.

I haven't used Flyblades in a while, can we no longer do a running "heavy" attack where our character throws both towards an enemy?
You can, it starts the orbit but you do briefly throw them in front of you and that has a hitbox.
So you just throw them out a bit differently.

You throw them into an orbit but instead of just tossing them out and instantly orbiting you yeet them like, 2-3 feet forward and then they curve into an orbit.
It's an orbit start nonetheless but that brief yeet forward can hit people.
Well that's kinda a downgrade.... for me anyway as i used to do the running heavy throw attack as an opening before getting close for melee.
Shame, was a great way to kill an archer ASAP.

Yes, leveling a weapon gives you skill points for that category of weapon.
Only two categories have enough members to max out the tree though.
And that entire system is getting revamped eventually.
