Can be. You get diminishing returns on Arcanic cooldown, and you'll reach over cap on your weapons. You'll also find your 1 and 3 a bit lacking compared to a more balanced build.

Plus, Spirit has the lowest health and worst armour of the virtues.

On the bright side, you'll be able to cast Arcanics very quickly, and your 2 Will hit like a truck

spirit feels a bit meh atm?
I started playing as full spirit build with staff (got 3 star staff and added rune and 'forma') and it does damage, sure
but I also died to anything on one hit, even random blob would murder me
I considered it fair, I can play at range 'glass cannon' style or 'support' so it needs to be balanced somehow, being squishy seems reasonable

but then i tried different prism and weapons, turns out courage can dish out as much dmg but makes envoy able to take many hits too
it feels like bow deals so much more damage too

so what would be the point of going spirit? 🤔

spirit scaling armor doesnt have the best armor stat wise from what i can tell or very weak to whatever attack those slugs do. spirit doesnt give that much hp, but reduces cooldowns for abilities
courage gives hp, and grace gives bonus dmg on headshots(?) and stealth attacks
for me id go spirit for reduced cooldown and dmg scaling for weapons, and it depends on the pact. id go spirit grace for garren rood, im running courage and spirit for mora's hand

full spirit oscelda while standing in the water gets really funny as you can just spam the healing ability a bunch

Yeah, the point of staves and spirit is not to have the best ranged weapons, but to actually have a decently functioning weapon while synergizing mostly on spell cooldown ;

Take it this way : If you play courage or grace (only), you have one good spell that synergize with your main stat but with a really long CD, and two spells almost dead in the water with no scaling and long CD ; when you play spirit, you have one good spell that synergize with your main stats with a really short CD and two other spells with no scaling but really short CD too ;

The real issue in the game right now is to have unlogical courage/spirit/grace spells that don't really fit in some builds ; like Mora's Hand 2 being counter intuitive in a spirit build as it asks you to get hit which you never want (should be swapped with 1 or 3), ; Garren Rood 2 having barely no scaling with spirit (should be swapped with 3) ; and the game is missing really good strong hit damage abilities to rely on to kill bosses with a spirit build, making you mostly rely on weapons to deal damage and use spells mostly for utility then, making you clearly sub-par compared to courage and grace weapons ; in boss fights. On the other hand, you are more consistent (more often) in packs of enemies with spells and aoe damage with weapon (from rune)

With builds that proc smite a lot cooldowns are almost a non issue even for grace and courage builds. That being the main perk of Spirit still feels like it doesn’t quite make up for it.

I still had lots of fun going for spirit build tbh, and probably will keep with that.
Maybe it is intended though that not all abilities should be really strong with one stat

I think Orengall with spirit is fun as you have a whole pack of wolves (4) taking aggro and dealing decent damage and that you can heal with 3; but i think i'll go Tethren spirit+staff for fun, it seems potent, can maybe scale damage and attack speed to some funny results

There are multiple entrances all over the map. Each entrance will be its own procedural instance. But some entrances always have a specific boss at the end.

It’s sounds that you may be fixating on how it’s allocating the points so you can meet virtue requirements for weapons and armor? After leveling Pacts and collecting pendants and prisms you should be able to meet any requirement you are aiming for. I’d aim for collecting the different pendants and prisms from the enclaves first.

I have a friend I’ve gotten into this game. We got him that set. Which is definitely a good set. He was a bit disappointed though that there isn’t really a good “mage” armor before the wazzard set. There is steelsingers but let’s be honest, in no way does that set look “magical” or wizardy.

Minor quests like Sparrows tales if shared or started with them in your party will update together. Major story quests can be tagged along for and you will see the cutscenes and things as well and they will track. Though this can be buggy sometimes. I generally recommend doing the story quests solo but I have tagged a long before as well, although I had already completed the story quests at that time.

Is recommended to focus on one faction first before switch and level the other two? I also see there is one material I don't have and is needed to craft other faction pendants.

I'm just lvl 1 in my starter faction, I focused on main fables mostly and some world events.

It feels weird to be just so low level on factions having my envoy lvl at 8 already

Make sure your visiting the faction to rank up/sell

so in the past there was a 1 week cooldown between faction swaps.. but now it matters less because as long as you have the talismans for the other factions built, you can swap. But certain things are only available from certain factions.. so you'll have to jump around as per your wants/needs

Kind of! You can freely change enclave as often as you like with no limit. However, you need 1 Sacred Shimmer to actually do that the first time per each of the other two Enclaves, so you'll need to get at least one of those from your starter Enclave first (then you could get the other from them, or by ranking the other to rank 3)

I'm unsure exactly how much the Envoy XP affects your virtues in "Prelude 13: Tongue-twister of Virtues", I played during P12. I should go pick up the new P13 weapons at some point, heh.

It's using the game engine that DE build for Warframe. The naming is on purpose, as both are DE's games. There are some surface similarities as a result. But if you've done more than just glance at the games, they're different beasts. Warframe is a cat. All speed and agilitiy. Soulframe is a wolf, slower paced and more deliberate.

For me technically is a beta but for some reason, and there are some old jokes about it since WF, they prefer to call it alpha. Not saying this is bad or good, they are free to call it how they want. While we have many systems which are more close to a beta than an alpha in game development, its true that seeing how they are changing and updating some core stuff like virtue system with prism, this is more common in alphas. Having said that, they could launch the EA in 1 year (P15 or 16) without problems imho. I have played many betas and EA games with less quality content than SF being honest.

You can't destroy/discard. You can only sell them. While this will work, be careful that you don't sell any of the good/best weapons. You may still need to buy weapons slots. Also, don't sell Juniper, because there's no way to get it back and it's one of the best bows.
