Yeah. I’d rather buy outright than rush.
You don’t have to farm pieces. You don’t have to wait for crafting. It comes with an extra slot if it’s a weapon/pact. it’s also a large enough cost to make you pause and question your impatience and in most cases decide against it.
Paying to rush in the other hand gives no benefit another than crafting time, but it cheap enough you’re likely to do it way too much if you ever do - until you one day realise you’ve wasted so much currency in rushing gear.

i've been bouncing around factions and gotten pieces for all factions set since p13 dropped

the armor pieces only show up in the store if you don't have a single fragment, which is confusing since buying a fragment means it goes away from the store; chalking that one up to a bug for now

Generally the up to date info is on the actual item's page, like https://wiki.avakot.org/Fire_King's_Plackart - the set page has to be manually typed and is more just a reference for what pieces it contains, I'm thinking of removing drop sources from that page though for sets where all pieces come from the same source, like this one, I could maybe just take the drop data for a random thing like the helmet

It just gets tough when pieces all have individual drop sources, like the Wazzard set where each Organ drops a particular part, then it's a question of do we have them all listed on the set page or just say 'click on a piece to see where it drops' or something like that 😄

So I got the Founders pack this weekend, tried out the Paragon Greatsword for about 4 hours, and as good as it is, am I the only one who thinks polearms are the best feeling melee weapons?!

The responsiveness and attack combos/flows just feel so damn smooth.

The Paragon is in a much better place that what it was in P12, but it is not meant to be exceptional.
It does fill a niche in that it can be slotted in any build.
Totally fair to find another type of weapon to be better, even for Greatswords Purity is generally better if it aligns with your build.

The Paragon is currently the highest damage ("best") weapon for spirit builds. Which says less about the paragon than it does about the state of spirit weapons.

I'm not great at this type of combat either, but I found doing either 1x light 1x heavy (does a stab) or 2x light then 1x heavy (sweep) you can go into a dodge roll or a kick animation if you wait to click the input during the heavy attack animation until RIGHT when it hits the enemy.

Any bit before or after it either doesnt register or there is a clear delay!

Almost nothing wrong with the scaling, and everything wrong with the weapon damage. Granted, several swords for whatever reason have more pips in a single virtue than any of our staves do, but part of that is because it's not needed. The base damage is so low that you only need 3 pips to reach the cap, and you can get that with a blessed joinery.
That said, if they did fix the core damage issue, they would also have to add another pip to most magic weapons to make the new higher damage attainable.

when fighting it, it spams the teleport attack ground slam back to back. It tracks you so you really can't evade it. Where I was at there was a npc camp close by so if you died the bear would always sprint right for the npcs and attack them. Then when you respawned it would yank the bear back and ground pound you almost immediately. IF you survived it, it would do it immediately again while you were still stunned. Or when you died it would just break the whole encounter. If the bear pulls agro from the npcs while you are trying to dodge then it just despawns and the mission is still active so you have to relog it reset it

I just got the game like 2 days ago so I did not know about that issue. it's like it was glitched as soon as it went for the move I would run away and look and listen for the queues that it was attacking. then if it popped up on the other side from me it would be like a homing attack. One thing that you can do to get stronger is to go around the settlements and collect the motes, those give account exp, and leveling up gives more stats.
That can also help without outright getting better equip.

Then using the Spectral Sight + Pull Smite (by default same as Light Attack, check keybindings) you can rip out the soul to do damage.
Some Pacts Arts empower damage or make you heal when you pull this off.
In addition, based on the color, one of your spells get its cooldown refiled.

best source for early armor is to do faction quests I think. Tier 1 and 2 can drop forgetfire fragments. Tier 2 and 3 can drop tempest. Tier 3 drops faction specific armor

1. Being unpopular doesn't mean it's not still a good idea. Lots of good ideas are unpopular.
2. probably to throttle people who no-life the game from grinding out content too quickly. They are a business, and their model does work by getting people to spend as much time in their game as possible.

Warframe recently dropped some content with no daily caps on the grind, and they had to overbalance the grind to compensate, and it's been even more unpopular with a large portion of the playerbase.

At the end of the day, they have to engineer it to take a certain amount of time to complete. Would you rather bust your butt for an hour and hit a cap, or feel required to grind all day every day to keep up?

To be clear, the grind curve on faction work here, in this specific case, does need some tuning, and I'm all for that. But I'm also generally in favor of the daily cap system over the grind-my-life-away approach.

reward automatic, and a chest room on the outside of the organ structure will be open.

Actually no, I'm a mage and I only need a staff. I don't even use secondary weapons. I've leveled up and sold all the weapons I could get, and I don't regret it. It's like in Warframe, I only need 3 weapons, everything else just upgraded and sold.

I'm gonna make an idiot fact (because I'm an idiot): if you want to farm the Stag and Bear fast, just do faction tale, those things spawn like 80% of the time. When I found out about this system by chance, I just spam the tale again and again until I have all the armor parts, and if it doesn't have the tale for it, select all the tales and abandon them, then relog, the tale will reset new mission
