Stag doesn't always spawn in the same spots, at least in P12. If you are doing a tale you don't have to wait till night, but stag/bear spawns from tales are bugged rn and often not spawning at all

i think you mean courage spirit hybrid build? if so yes its tricky but possible. you need to put the virtues you get from the orengall and bromius tales till you have enough

Indirectly it does? Levelling the Pact will make the Pact stronger, and levelling Pacts and weapons will increase your overall level (the number next to your Envoy name)

That overall level gets you more Virtues

Nobody will like me after say this. I love the Prism system and Attunement Requirements on Weapons and Armor. It forced me to rethink my stat distribution, equip specific talismans, and pick certain pacts to meet my weapon and armor needs. It adds more build depth to make the numbers work to your advantage.

I dunno man, after realizing that as long attunement virtues are split even/one has higher attunement, just bump that 1 virtue and you will have highest damage.
I wish the system in a way worked that when it says split attunement, to get the best out of it you must also do split. Makes Prism a little more exciting.

I don't think removing them entirely is necessary but they need to be much lower, and the difference between the bonus and base damage should be way smaller. "Equipable but basically useless" isn't really "usable"

In a different world, what if the weapon attunement system worked this way (don't laugh at me):
Each weapon come with 1-3 stats (at tiers 1-3)

Each stat is buffed by each corresponding virtue.
Example:

• t1 weapon comes with 1 stat powered by 1 virtue, spirit ( lets say the stat is +DMG, each spirit virtue increases its damage, similar to what we have here)
• t3 weapon comes with 3 stats powered by each virtue (Courage = +DMG, Grace = +Stagger, Spirit = +Charge Speed)

Like pacts, whatever virtues you want to increase will increase those stats, so basically you can customize how you want to use the weapon. Ofcourse those stats are just examples, but can be whatever developers want their game to be.

Remember, in a different world.

They just released a big update, which means they probably got all hands on deck working on hotfixes, plus the long weekend slowing things down, and response times on those issues is slower than usual.
My guess is that they are working to fix it for all affected in the next hotfix.

Depends, if you consider it in isolation, yes.
But you can put armor strip into one weapon and use the second for damage.

Each pact has 1 ability which scales with each virtue so all will benefit in some way from a prisim focusing on or favoring any virtue. Any given pact might not be optimal used with any virtue but all should at least work, as long as they are paired with weapons and armor that are also scaling from the same virtue to some degree.

Pact and Prisms are not tied to one another, you are free to run a courage Oscelda.

TLDR: pacts are the least tied to virtues and any pact should at least kind of work with any build

You can buy Tethren (the Courage starter pact) from Silent Rose when you get to that point after the tutorial, might need to farm a couple of ranks of the faction for it.
The starter Prism you can get as soon as you manage to find the location of the Kith of Kings Enclave.
You can look up stuff in the Avakot.org wiki if you want precise locations.

I don't understand why I submitted logs to support, a video, and told them I used one of my Preludes Access - Friend Codes to make another account and clearly explained that my main account that has the Wyld Sirin Founder Pack is not working due to server side issue with gear items. Like I am about to loose my cool here. I have explained I deleted the cache and redownloaded it 5 times. Yet they insist to tell me to redo the cache. Uh hello. THE CLIENT IS FINE. I can play one account but the founder account won't progress past the pact commit stage at the start of game due to some server side issue with gearing from the founder pack. This is a dam joke.

Personally, I would buy slots as needed to claim stuff when needed.
But keep in mind I'm an hoarder.
Many things have no practical purpose on keeping that I keep anyway.

For mixed builds that sounds about right after the patch. You can only get to 40ish on single attunement prisms, not on hybrids.

When you approach a location you'll see a number of pips at the top of the screen, some of these will be filled with icons, the amount that are filled matches how many of the golden motes you can find

not really no. the bethesda games do not do it this way, i believe a few of the soulslike games don't either, and honestly pretty much all other RPG games i've played do not follow this structure.

Not much interest in what is being said in-game as one can use metaphors to describe things. All sorts of ways to use language, but when truth is being shown or explicitly stated by the creators or the story tellers, then that is another story.

See the Attunement line?
In Nettle there is a blue pip lit up (that means one level of Grace scaling).
In Grinn there are 4 pips, (2 Courage, 2 Grace scaling), but since you don't met the requirement they are not active.
If you see the damage of Nettle you see there is a +10/+19 in parenthesis, that's the extra damage from scaling.

Means that parrying cost less stability, which is a good thing because if your stability runs out you get stunned/thrown down.
