All Pacts work with all weapons as long as you meet their Virtue requirements

You can use any weapon with any pact, you just have to make sure you meet the virture requirements for your chosen gear.

Bromius is more about jumping into the middle of enemies so it might not be optimal with a bow, but you can certainly use it with one

Orengall is great with ranged weapons, as it summons wolves that can distract your enemies while you snipe

Everflame is likely more in pure damage within melee range, however mistgale allows you to attack from range too which means less time wasted on running towards your enemies and more spent on actually attacking.

Everflame also is damage on top of your melee strike while mistgale is a projectile separate which could scale worse against high armour.

Might not be too much of a difference in pure damage but it would be ranged utility vs armour piercing mainly

Changes will likely happen to the virtues and weapons to change this, but you do need to have some patience so the team can work on those changes. When you start the game, you have a limited number of Weapon slots

If you run out, you cannot collect a new weapon. You can either clear a slot by selling a weapon, or buy a new slot for arcs, if you wish to claim that weapon.

Not only do I have to go to a dungeon now, but spend 30m hunting every single Ode in there for the same reward I would have gotten if I simply found the Banneret objective? People complained about this objective countless times back then and now, it is even more obvious.

A lot of the game is meant to be explored and kind of Choose Your Own Adventure. There are currently 8 quests, 3 mini quests, 3 ancestors, 3 factions, 2 sieges, 3 operations, and TONS of dungeons and other locations to explore.

If you want to focus on becoming stronger, you can explore and kill enemies for different weapons, faction quests to get other pacts, weapons and armor, or find other quests for more of the same. There’s a lot of options before you, the game won’t tell you where to go though unless you’re already kind of on the path. I suggest looking around the starter area for the 2 other ancestors to start, and maybe you’ll find a quest or three along the way.

A personal tip as well is, you likely want to aim for at least two load outs:
one being just your leveling load out of whatever pact & weapons combo you’re currently leveling up.
The second being a “farming” load out, with max rank frame with max rank weapons that you feel most comfortable playing. With the intention of using it anytime you decide to target farm bosses for runes or gear.

okay finally free from cabbage ewoks and sap spiders. Okay. For BOW totems, in the Utitlity slot (blue), Yielding if you are going for Charge shot smite chance because you can stack that with Spry in Attack Slot (Red) which goes to 15% charge rate, so thats not considering charge rate from you bow perks. Then you can make your Defense slot (yellow) either something that will give you more Magic/Phys defense OR make it something to give you more potential in your dodge attacks if you are going to build into being bow and knowing you will be close and needing to dodge. Because bow combat arts have perfect doodge to also increase charge rate and smite. So, see where we are going??
That's why, I usually do flyblades secondary, throw them orbit to ALSO proc smite and kill. While shooting arrows. If I am doing the skirmisher thing

Your other option, Is to go Arrow Hail decrease movement speed/armor. And then do a secondary short blade to chop them up. And then take combat arts in bow that makes the bow arrow hail last longer, spread farther, and the shatter does more stagger.

To change your stat distribution you need to get more Prisms.
You can get the starters by talking to the faction leaders (no need to join), and the rest from the Faction shops.

You can always equip weapons, but if you don't meet the requirement they will not scale with stats.

It's because it's from a diferent weapon, if you activate it with your secondary switch to primary and activate it again when you move it will disipate the primary one leaving the effect of the secondary weapon's visuals, apparently each weapon has it's own version of the buff visually

You also said yourself that you're level 17, each level is an additional point for virtues iirc, which means that your stats are going to be rather significantly higher than me if I equipped the Grace/Courage prism. I'm sure their concept of the idea was based around the souls games, where you get penalized for using weapons that you don't meet the stat requirements for, but the issue is that in those games, you are able to go out and farm levels through natural gameplay, then assign those levels freely in order to meet the stat requirements. Soulframe doesn't have that capability

its strange, it seems if you have under 60 it spawns super fast

if you have over it spawns the same like 12 hours cd

it's really random. some people get 1,000 a pickup. some people lose seeds on pickup. me, i get my 1-3, but they spawn individually.. as in i get 1 pick up until i pick them all up and then it's a 12 hour cooldown. it's interesting

My wife has like 40 odd seeds yesterday and when she collected today she went to like 150

and i just collected it and it said 811 lol

progress with factions stays even when you switch factions

you just gotta rank up each one individually

Building the token won't change anything. It merely allows to to switch enclaves later if you talk to another enclave leader. And no, you won't lose progress.

Depends on what you mean by slow. Reaching max in a pact/weapon feels fairly fast. Now leveling EVERY pact/weapon, sure that will take time
