Am I being ridiclous.. I crafted 4 potions with verminia to level her to level 2, however she is still only on 1 and a half? Maybe there is something I dont know regarding this?
I don't think she has a level 2? Or does she start at 1
I thought level 2 is the requirement for the cogah potion?

get a color palet from your faction, that counts
hues and the virtue increase potions are from factions

You craft them at Verminia, gotta collect a bunch of flowers and mushrooms
Only a one time craft though, once you've made them you unlock the colors forever

I have a silly question regarding fragments, lets say i have 4 and the craft requires 2, if i craft will I have 2 remaining? In another words everytime I want to craft multiple of the same item, do i need to get fragments again?
it's one of the tiles in the glades dungeon, look for a large open room with a stag statue in the middle
and it's not gtd to spawn every time you enter the glades so you might be looking for a while
You will have 2 remaining, and yes you would need to get more fragments if you wanted duplicates of weapons
There isn't really a reason to have duplicates of weapons though, as Totems and Runes can be swapped freely, and attunement can be added by just applying a Blessed Joinery (though you will need to re-level the weapon)
Maybe they add trading in the future? So shall i save or just sell ?
Can't sell fragments at the moment, you can sell extra weapons which is mostly to free up inventory slots once you've fully levelled stuff you know you're not gonna use

Regarding Joinery, does applying any joinery reset level or only the blessed?
Only Blessed resets level, it can also only be applied at level 30, the others can be applied at any time

It's pretty rare. I think I've seen it once in like 20-30 glades runs (was hunting brass). Looks like a big wide open sludge field with a statue in the middle.
I finally got to my final weapon mastery checklist and I'm on greatswords.
I uh.
I expected them to be slow but anyone else feel like they are too slow? They feel really clunky and unresponsive.
I can block and it still takes a good half second or longer just to block during combat.
Feels like there's meant to be a tradeoff but I'm not feeling the tradeoff positives
Unless Needleseye is bad on purpose? Saving Paragon for last.
A lot of the combat specially melee still feels floaty and unresponsive. Hopefully p13 does something.
I feel like it won’t be fixed until they let us turn the auto targeting completely off and fix whatever makes characters skate around in this engine
yeah, there are some delays and such that'll hopefully be addressed in p13.

I guess it's also noticable because I went from Sword & Shield which felt like the most responsive and fluid melee type, to Greatswords the difference is more noticable.
I end up having to cancel the animation it takes when I stop swinging by moving, tapping sprint or whatever, just so I can parry in time with gs
I hope if they fix the floatyness they take back to warframe. That game has a similar thing were it always feels like were ice skating.
wild how used I am to it in its current state, greatsword is the one I'm most excited to play in p13

it's a good place to start, I'd say. no more wipes either.

I would say start playing if you wanna be part of the process of DE figuring out what the game IS. Not so much if you wanna play a clear vision yet.
I might just hold off on using Greatswords until p13 then.
It feels like I'm hitting things with a nerf sword, enemies don't react to being hit by a giant slab of metal, and throwing the thing has no effect either
but sword and shield is enough to guarantee enemies fall to the floor when thrown
Not to say being hit with a shield flying at your face isn't enough to knock someone down and stun them, but a sword the same size as a person probably should have some noticable effect.
Yeah enemy reactions need a bit of work too. The fire from runes come to mind.
heyoo, anyone have a suggestion on where to farm the mockery weapons?
I do. go to thrice on his overworld location. kill anything there, then log out and back in. you'll spawn near it, go back and kill the mockeries there.
you choose the two there over the crypt by kearnhold?
I don't mind that one too much, it's satisfying to pull an enemies soul out, and then hit them with the buff during their stun.
just just the one ne of learn and nw of vella
the boss won't respawn when you relog ofc, but there will always be mockeries there
just a short walk back to kill em again

I suggest continuing to play your fables first. 4th tab down in your journal.
it'll help you understand a bit more and unlock almost all you need to have your start. don't be afraid to ask in game of you need help doing something either.

Hey guys, I’m new to Souldframe only joined after the latest Twitch stream so still learning. I’m from New Zealand. I’m sorry if this has been asked a million times before but regarding Riverpearls. What is main way to get them now? Before I seen it was to run the rivers but I’ve only managed to find 3 doing that. Is there any other primary way or is it just a case of keep grinding for hours

pearls are best earned passively from killing bosses and doing tales. you can actively search rivers and bogs, but they are very rare. least as you are grinding out gear from bosses, you have chances to get pearls.

A - keep them for p13

B - burn the best ones to get alternate versions of our favorite weapons before they're gone?

im pretty sure they mentioned that they would be changing in how they work

Basically, anything with a Blessed will get the extra pip and go back to its base attunement on release of the update, likely.

yeah, the motes when they were replaced with runes and totems
but the old joineries from p10 are also still in our inv rn if you had them too, so some you get to keep as a shinny rare thing that does nothing and some are removed if the system around them change
Also technically Runes when they swapped from Archetype to Grip based runes

But in that case they ran a script that just issued your the grip runes for any Archetype runes you had already earned.

no they probably won't remove the weapon, just the affect of the joinery will change
to bring up the old joineries again, any weapon that had them on now just has the joinery with the affect of the joinery being nothing at all
Nah, the weapon will just go back to what it was and get the new Joinery pip
likely to avoid null ref errors imo, otherwise they'd just remove them.

At a guess they might have a jard time flipping all the switches to un-joinery reforged gear.
And so they have to leave the old ones in until they find a way to clean em up
tho I seriously hope they are brought back as a joinery from a corrupted fey boss or something later on cuz the names on those are so freaking cool

Is there any part of the game currently that really encourages grouping up or automatically groups you up? so far ive felt like ive been playing a single player open world rpg except i can talk to other people also playing the game if i feel like it
If it was just removed from the compandium I'm p sure most people wouldn't care anymore

You can group up, but there's no matchmaking and all content can be done solo
This is somewhat intentional
it is mainly solo with optional co-op

though i noticed the bosses do respawn quick enough i can kinda go between a loop of activities to get loot from different sources and eventually come back to the boss once they've respawned

Yeah, now that boss cd was reduced the grouping and sharing is mostly for when you got one thing left to farm for or for stags thst can be tricky to find otherwise

its long enough to encourage someone to go and explore but short enough that grinding is pretty reasonable
That was my suggestion as well back during the great Prelude Honour wars. Dangling that empty slot in front of everyone was a weird decision.
Now it makes more sense with the new direction from Devstream 12 though

wouldn't say it's new, they're still reeling from excal prime. and mag and frost heirloom put the final nail on that coffin. they've become verrryy anti exclusive, and it it is good

so was just in a party with a guy, using the magic side arm. He was attacking at a speed he could wipe whole camps instantly without runes. It was like a machinegun. Is this an exploit id assume?

Oh when they glow blue red or green
when the enemie has a glow inside them you pull smite it out - soul mode + light attack
Tethern's 1st ability, each hit deals more dmg, so kill a couple trash adds then your backstab will be op

I imagine you said that just because it is easier to communicate but just in case
The game doesnt really have classes like that, you have what i assume is the base bow equipped but you can equip other weapons too (which will also become easier with the patch we might get this week because of weapon requirements no longer having a debuff if you dont have the stats)
So like you can basically equip any weapon with any pact (tho of course meeting the stats means more damage)
I guess the tldr of what i want to say is, you arent locked to bows only because you picked "archer" at the start

I knew that but Grace is built around archer too and I got the bow as my only weapon and you gotta choose between mage archer and melee for the 3 starting classes so i called it archer

All progress is kept
good, I was afraid of playing so much and then having to start again
Granted if they change or rework a system the progress of that system specifically might be reset but overall progress is kept

Yeah, unique weapons tho building the same one more than once won't help

Every unique weapon you level to 30 gives you 5 points for the weapon arts perk tree

There are huge trees around the map that you have to find, once interacted a portion of the map will be free of the fog

In the begining it felt so hard to find them but once you realize how they look becomes much easier. If you want to know how it looks its a || Thick Tree No Leaves with a Spear attached to the branch ||
The bird is supposed to show you the way to one of em at the start of the game, it'll sit in the trident attached to the tree but next time you summon it it'll just move on so you might not realize you're meant to interact with it even if you saw the guide sit on the trident which is very easy to miss

The Mockery set currently has mostly hybrid defenses, spread evenly between physical defense, magickal defense and stability
That will almost certainly change in the upcoming update though
Ye i noticed that too in the wiki but i like it. Only got the kings armor set so far and no stability sucks sometimes at least until i get the tempest pact
what is stability even for? do i need to pay attention to it if i play magic weapons over distance?
As far as i understood it its for how fast and which enemy attacks can knock you down but not completly sure. If you can keep your distance it doesnt really matter for mage builds at least for me it doesnt although bosses can get harder
It makes you more stable lol, meaning you will not get staggered so easily. If you play from distance it's not so important, but for meele it is
If u have a big number then lower level enemies won't stagger you almost at all, but higher level stagger you almost anyway soooo

Stability effects your ability to block and parry, aswell as what level of attacks stagger and knock you down
Block and parry work in relation to the white bar under your hp, if you don't have enough your block will be broke or you will fail to parry, you also get knocked down if the bar fills
Stagger and knockdown from enemy attacks works in a separate calculation likely similar to armour, if an attack has 5 stagger and you have 5 stability it won't interrupt you, if the attack has more stagger than you have stability you will be staggered, if it has overwhelmingly more stagger than you have stability you will be knocked down regardless of the white bar.
Stability is almost a useless stat atm because the main things that break your stability do so at such a higher amount than the possible stability we can get that no matter how much you build it doesn't do anything.

I thought parrying cost no stability, or will you actually auto fail a parry regardless of timing if an attack is too heavy for your remaining bar?

Hallo people, Im a bit new to soulframe as I started out recently with some friends, we beat the story that exists so far and I am now leveling up my faction, currently rank 2. What do you think of the combat so far? From my experience the bow seems to be the best weapon in terms of gameplay, you can aim you can shoot from extremely far distances and it feels good, magic weapons are, eh? They feel ok at best i'd say. As for melee It feels very "clunky" to me but I do enjoy the ability to throw the weapon. I'm curious to know what the rest of ya guys think.

The melee has janky animations that are hopefully gonna get updated but i already love the feel of actually hitting stuff combined with the movement and jumping. Idk why i'm enjoying this way more than my 120hrs of where winds meet and i just started SF a week ago.

So far from what I have played with, out of the melee weapons the dagger/shortsword sidearm feels the best, the longsword is fine for the most part and the greatsword just kinda sucks. Now I don't have extensive experience with it but I do feel like the collision with the hitboxes needs more work aside from some animations, a lot of the times on charged heavy attacks visually my strike will be right next to an enemy and it just won't register which feels annoying. As for the bow the only real complaint I have is that I wish the enemy AI didn't know you location within an instant if you shoot from a hidden position/being far away, but it seems to be just like warframe on that part. All in all I'd say I like some aspects of melee but it certainly feels lacking, you get staggered too easily, parries are not particularly rewarding especially for normal enemies. Now bear in mind I am talking about all of this without considering the skill trees as of now.
Parrying costs stability, Some attacks (glowing ones) required the art node to parry, and depending on the stagger value of the attack it costs more to parry, you can reduce the cost with joineries

I am saying this more specifically for the greatsword but it applies to other melee weapons, often times when standing literally next to an enemy and using a charged heavy attack it just doesn't hit, I noticed this mostly when fighting the mini-boss "Reaper" the dog with the armour. I didn't mean that my strike simply hit the air or the ground next to the enemy.
the paragorn hits just fine imo. making the hitbox bigger would result in registert hits where the actual sword passed the collision box of an enemy by alot

Yeah it lacks polish and yeah the greatsword is disappointing lol but i'm loving the short sword and polearm a lot. When it it works it feels great I just hope they keep working on it. I heard they're reworking the short sword moveset too.
You can buy more weapon or Pact slots from Zenith the camel in your Nightfold, you can sell Pacts and weapons to Avakot to free up space
You can also sell at Zenith
Don't sell your pacts yet though, of course. Might need the normal ones later on

New player here, just picked up a founder's set last night and sent two friends the codes. Had an absolute blast and am looking forward to playing more. Definitely scratched the PvE itch for our group of 3 long time destiny players.
Any tip lists or guides for a new player such as "don't sell your pacts" or anything?
Also, is it suggested to get all 3 of the wyld packs for the additional shop currency?

It would be nice if it was upped. Would create new ways to farm dracs and increase reason to recraft weapons.
Game's about to change pretty drastically but a few tips that will stay relevant:
Level weapons to 30 before selling them, as this will unlock combat art points as well as level your overall account
You won't be directed towards content after a certain point, there is more to find but you'll have to find it, look for interesting landmarks/out of place elements in the world
As for premium currency, if you are comfortable spending then I would say the Founder packs are the best bang for your buck right now when it comes to Arcs, though at this point you don't need much

Do dungeons scale to your character/account level or do they scale based on what area of the map you enter them? i.e. entering a dungeon in the north will have stronger enemies than the same dungeon entered in the south

greatsword has some floaty animations that currently need you to cancel by like briefly sprinting and such. that should be changing in like p13.

I parry all the time with greatsword. it does work. you just kinda have to make it work sometimes.
Theres a problem at where once enemies reach about level 24 you can't parry then anymore, that might be part of your issue
like the animation after the end of a light combo, if you just wait to parry then it doesn't always work.

If its a straight bug or if they just outscale our stability with their stagger by that point is unknown

You can't really, enemy stagger values are hidden and we dont have great options for building stability

You will never have enough stability to not be knocked down by bannerets and stag slams for example, and most other attacks you can parry without any investment

a 20 kg bat or a running deer knight should bring you down no matter how much you invest into stability

The kit of Oscelda is really attracting me to go melee. CC +DMG, Heal overtime, and Stagger birds. Im enjoying the greatsword and just crafting Gathannan, exciting.

I was throwing my greatsword, it does chip damage, like completely useless
but has a tree for it

too slow too yucky, but you can hit heads. its way too finicky because of how it flies

you can still aim heads hots, but I'd say greatsword is more a heavy swing weapon. daggers and polearms excel as a throwing weapon

longsword has some throw stuff too, but it also lacks as a throwing weapon
To be fair, skill trees do not necessarily indicate what type of weapon it is or what it excels in. That system is LONG due for a rework

- Melee weapons scale with Courage, Magick weapons scale with Spirit and ranged weapons scale with Grace. Similarly, Armour now scales with Virtues, with Courage accessing the toughest of steel, while Spirit won’t.

I would suspect hybrid builds will be a lot more reasonable with the new virtue system. Your bow might not deal as much raw damage, but when combined with abilities that scale off spirit, I imagine this will still be possible. Also if we can add joineries for different stat attunements. Your bow might end up with Grace 2x and Spirit 1x scaling
is there a website that explains how scaling work? like if i have 30 virtue points and all of them in spirit with a weapon of 3x spirit attunement, is the damage increase similar to a weapon of courage/grace/spirit attunements with 10 virtue in each? i hopei made sense

Very rough math on scaling right now (subject to change)
1 icon = 1 Virtue points adds 1 damage
2 icons = 1 Virtue point adds 1.5 damage
3 icons = 1 Virtue point adds 2 damage
Weapons do have caps where adding more stops increasing the damage, depends on the weapon
We don't have formulas to my knowledge so it is hard to know this. Also, weapons all have a scaling cap to them. Most weapons wont go past 24/25/26 virtue stat for increasing damage. I wouldn't invest much time+effort into understanding this atm. P13 is going to be reconfiguring all of this

My recommendation on build crafting atm, so trying to think about what kind of stat weights you want for certain builds. P13 is going to make builds much more multifaceted. You'll have to think about weapon types, their scaling, what prism to use, which pact ABILITY you want to be scaled out with your prism, what scaling you want through joineries.
There will be a lot more to think about. In theory at least
I suspect you will see more 60%/30%/10%-style stat builds than you will 80%/10%/10% or 70%/20%/10%s. My guess is that most builds will want an average of 2 pact abilities to be scaled out. Which means weighting two of the three virtues as high as you can within reason and "dump stating" the third
although they did mention a prism that cators for glass canon build
whether prisms stay or go, yeah they aim for spirit mains to be looking at big damage low armor
Yeah I'm sure we'll see a 80/10/10 prism or a 90/5/5. Something like that. Whether or not it'll be the average build you see, I'm not convinced. But I'm sure it'll certainly be possible
I mean take Hand of Mora pact for instance. It's two damage abilities scale on Courage and Grace. It's spirit ability is just a self buff that tends more toward tanky builds. So for Ability Damage specifically, you'll want a prism that leans toward Courage/Grace. Which feels slightly counter toward it being (in my opinion) a more magey pact dedicated to using abilities a lot. It also means that if you aren't pumping Spirit your cooldown reduction is going to be decreased which feels slightly counter. So then youll have to think about if you want to scale the Ground AoE or the Fireblast and how much Courage/Grace to throw into it
Based on the devstream the Prisms with the most extreme weighting are at about 55% to 60% in a single Virtue, with the remaining 40-ish % divided among the two others
I'll be curious to see if this holds true or if adjustments or made. Or if we just didnt see all the prisms. That feels like is seriously limits builds if thats the case.
Not really, for example Saphene's Shadow had 13/15/40 C/S/G if you wanted to go all in on Grace weapons you'd still have pretty reasonable scaling for the other 2, and there's more balanced Prisms as well
I feel like people are forgetting that you still get SOME scaling on the other Virtues even when leaning heavily towards one of the three, if you want to go all in on a Grace ability it's not like your other 2 will have no scaling

This all paints a picture to me that we will see functionally no build variance and everyone will be do one and only one thing, but we'll have to see how it plays out.
I'm with you and you're right for joineries. But that doesn't mean we won't see hybrid based weapons that inherently scale on multiple stats. I would assume that should still be possible given this new system

We don't know but my assumption would be it'd have the new effect, so instead of 2 Spirit scaling it'd have whatever the new scaling is + 1 Spirit scaling

I still wonder how this new scaling will play with the flat damage reduction. You will still need big numbers to get past enemy armor, so the sytem heavily biases towards whatever gives you the biggest single number over anything else. It seems like a single weapon and prisim allocation will always have an edge because it will always produce the biggest number for any given hit. Unless we have attunement caps still, in which case once you hit a cap your are basically wasting further allocation into that virtue, but have no control over it because you are locked to the proportions of your prisim...
The more I think about this system the less I like it lol.

They used to just be able to respawn via bird like solo play outside of Cogah.

you can revive immediately, but you can also fly your bird back to where you fell. if you do it that way, you're also granted a potion if you make it in time

Only difference is that with Warframe, the player can die if they aren't revived in time / can manually die and respawn. In Soulframe Cogah, there doesn't seem to be a time limit on reviving a fallen ally.

I tend to use Oscelda to act as the medic for a run, but iirc unless you're the host, Oscelda's passive CD reduction while standing in water doesn't actually apply.
...I also kinda wish that the Founder weapons were 3 star items, mostly cuz that Magic weapons seem to be weaker than melee or bows / flyblades

Magic weapons are the strongest in the game in my opinion. They just require you to stand still to build up damage. Gauntlets especially are disgustingly strong. Especially with the Joinery that adds damage for continuous hits
If founders were tier 3 weapons then theyd either be BiS or BiS-adjacent which strictly is not healthy for the game
well they need you to stay still to build up attack speed, you can still kite and build damage from feybalt

while steve joked he was getting yelled at for it, he said it had more to do with wanting to release it with content not just virtue changes so its more about the organ activity and drops it sounds like
He said in the short that delay is coming from the new content and rewards (Organ ig) that they want to release for players to have to do something

Courage no longer being THE best by a long shot, blessed joineries being cheese no longer, and prisms seem like a neat system
I think Prisms will be so sick if there is a way to upgrade them or add stats to them. Kinda of like an upgradable Subclass+Equipment hybrid
Building into weapon types instead of weapon virtue types is going to be neat
Though, I do hope they find more ways to differentiate distinct weapons within classes
The prisms are gonna be so good i actually cant wait cause now we actually get to customize the way we play the game, instead of stacking courage with a sprinkle of spirit and grace
is it possible for the game to be bugged and for the huge boxes from the event not to drop? I only saw one during the story (thought it aws story related since it was on a story point) but it turns out it wasn't and i got sintantly pulled into a cutscene. Since then i never saw another event big ship or whatever it is
That event spawns once every 6 hours
It's called the collector, and spawns at a different point on the map every 6 hours. Once completed, it won't respawn until the next 6 hours passes

Do people try to go for high smite chance for this build? Cause people say it's busted but I've only been landing smites with arrow rain
I only started with rostrum yesterday. I’ve mostly been odiac and duhk. I took it at level 1 with level 1 sirin to NE and was taking camps out. (with armor and full totems and rune)
I want to say I did everything I could to get more smite.

Smite makes the world go round currently. Its the single most important aspect to increasing damage for basically every build due to how runes work. And in terms of rostrum, Rostrum Flintsmoke + Odiac/Esthelle Hollowing definitely feels like a very top tier build at the moment. Extremely huge utility paired with large spiky damage. However, when joineries change, this whole build is likely going to look very different

NEVER compare yourself to Tethren at the moment. Fellust is notoriously broken as heck. Its in a completely tier of its own and 99% of the playerbase is PRAYING it gets nerfed/adjusted

I'm not sure I fully agree with that. Quite a few pacts feel pretty good, but every build does kinda rely on being pumped totally into Courage. Mora's Hand can output quite a bit of damage with a ton of courage. Garren Rood's stampede clears enemy camps without even trying and provides mild sustain.
Weapons have caps, so its all ability play for high dps?
i play oscelda solo in cogah, it's definitely not impossible, it's just that nothing is as easy to rack up damage with as tethren right now
Yeah but when it comes to bosses Moras hand, Garren, Tempest all feel like they do nothing

Look i am not expecting out dps other pacts, but i only managed to land 1-2 hits and the fight was over, it felt like cheating. throughout leveling to max, my mind still cant comprehend how to increase damage that much. I guess i shall try teth and see how it feels

Tempest I totally agree. Mora's Hand I don't. The self-immolate Fire Buff that boosts weapon damage is very good for magic weapons and bows. Also the DoT fire tick does a lot more than you'd think and the Fireblast hits for like 300 damage. Garren Rood is 'fine' for bosses. Stampede is extremely good for add control. The heal is.... alright. But the main thing is you can upkeep a rune permanently with Rood + Lifesteal Joinery
could be nice to "crystalize" your virtues. jist not farm for what seems like they are proposing. i.e. i got my virtues to what i want for my healer. i spend some farmable material to creat a crystal based on what i set. then i can make crystal part of my load, but not loose access to the adhustability.

Your normal attack isn't applying Fire Debuff while also doing AoE damage as well
Devolving everything to "how much damage per hit" defeats the purpose and isn't a good metric

Orengall pact?
Yeah, The claw disappeared for some reason and its just so much nicer. I'm surprised by how they even modeled the teeth even though you would ordinarily never see them
It really is. Had it disappear briefly while hanging with Avakot in the well.
While I like the aesthetic and feel of Orengall, I absolutely hate the claw rn. It's intrusive to both combat and fashion, removing my kick to do a less effective slash, and just being in the way in an illogical-even-by-fantasy-standards way

Legit question. Is there an actual, tangible use for Kick/Orengall Slash? I haven't been able to find one. It feels like worse charged heavy
There are Totems that have Kick boosting effects but I find Kicks in general to be too weak
Hopefully P13 helps them a bit, and if not at least the new combat will be a good place to look into Kick improvements
Orengall has a lot of problems that I hope they can fix very soon. Mostly I want to see werewalker become something completely different. I think it could be fun to have a courage arcanic that utilizes the claw as something akin to an exalted weapon. Maybe like Voruna's 4th ability (sorry to mention warframe)?

I like the kick when using bow. It's good to interrupt the attacks of most lighter armor Odes, anything else and I just dodge.
Orengall slash however SUCKS. It's such a downgrade from the kick, cause the kick has a form of lock-on and forward movement. Orengall just has the lockon

I think we've tested it and gotten a slight increase over regular kick/unarmed punch. The running skewer version does notiably better.
I'm with you. I'd love to see it be a melee-focused druidic werewolf transformation. Increased speed, damage, built in combo

My opinion: Tethren is the strongest atm and isnt even close. Garren Rood/Oscelda/Sirin are the ones I find the most fun and more importantly, engaging

I noticed in the devstream that the orengall armor's new attunement is 2 grace 1 courage, so I think that's a good hint that the current direction for the rework could be pretty good.
That's a bug, rather than an intended mechanic, so will likely go away anyhow.
Sirin does not suck. It's a patience litmus test. It has a lot of CC. A lot of focus on stealth attacks, which are insanely powerful. It's power is very hidden behind using combat strategies.

Oscelda isn't boring at all. In fact you have to think about your movement and enemy distance more than melee does. It's also EXTREMELY good with Bow. A powerhouse really. But it's also great with mage weapons too

People typically don't think of "grace" when thinking of wolves. That's the weird part... Like "what are you pulling this 'wolves = grace' thing from?"
In terms of Orengall, I'd like to just feel more like I'm hunting in solo play. Atm I feel like Orengall is really a multiplayer-oriented pact. Stay in the backlines, throw out your wolves and buff your party.

I definitely think of wolves as graceful. In terms of soulframe I think theyd easily fit into any of the three categories of virtues. Courage for sure and spirit as they are often seen as spirit guides
grace is being associated with stealth playstyles cause of Sirin, and Orengall's description screams stealth gameplay
But I agree that I dont see Orengall as a 'silent assassin.' It's reads much more as a Beastmaster/Melee Shaman to me
New Grace is going to be focused around stealth and finishers. Theming-wise I do agree that its a bit iffy. However as a wildlife biologist I can confirm that wolves are pretty graceful hehe
I mean it literally howls out loud for one of it's abilities. Literally opposite of silent
Wolves and many canids in general don't rely much on stealth. They rely on endurance. Make the prey run themselves into exaustion, because we can keep this up all day.
They also rely on pack tactics and strategy
I sort of love this about it? The theme is focused around the "mother wolf and her pack" idea and so Packhunter and Howl really work for me as concepts. I really think adding in the Wolverine courage arcanic would add in that extra spice that it needs to feel like you're a dangerous hunter too.
That's true. That's why humans and wolves got along well in the first place. Endurance and strategy are a tactic shared between humans and wolves.

My Ideal setup for Orengall would be Marrow Bane + Sidearm Bow. 1h Axe + Bow screams beastmaster ranger setup
We have that Orengall sword concept art that they showed, but I think its unclear if that will be dual blade or long blade?
at the very least it could maybe use a few tweaks in the first ability. I mean, I do like that it makes me feel like I'm a wolfwalker from the 2020 film, but the enemies still aggro on my out in the open body, so it becomes useless in a fight where they're actively engaged with me. Can't even use it with my spirit ability cause they still aggro on me instead of turning a lot of attention on the wolves.
How does the armor transmog work? You pay the currency to apply it or you pay to unlock the item for future transmog?

I think if we have to keep werewalker i would like my body to not be vulnerable and also for there to be any in-combat use whatsoever. Especially during bosses. It kinda hurts that Orengall functionally only has 2 arcanics when every other pact has 3

Just means you will likely have to slot a prism that boosts primary spirit and secondary courage. Then find a melee weapon with inherent spirit scaling

The old system had a bit more sources of red and green mana motes around most of the dungeions. The smitable odiacs falling off of enemies helped cover the blue mana.

Currently, yes if you use a Blessed joinery. However, this is changing in p13. And we dont know EXACTLY how it will function
using a blessed by mora/iridis/saphene joinery does change the attuned virtue

Try a relog with cache optimize. That often fixes stuck fables.
