Avakot vendor will randomly let you buy a preset amount of Goss Quartz, I believe there's also a random chance to get it from the tree stumps you play notes to and get buffs

Got just enough Quartz to get the pact and got the first of the three amulets! (as far as I understand the complete puzzle needs to be completed over at least three days XD)

In game days perhaps. You dont need to fight him all three times in the overworld before doing the armor puzzle though. Just get all three of the amulet pieces. Theres 3 instances of the crypt dungeon and i dont believe the circade is on a timer for respawn like other bosses are because ita a unique dungeon.

There are factions, and pacts (the classes) and weapons and they are all pretty much separate and you can change each including changing factions (harder and on timer)

yeah, the room you'd be looking for only has one exit, rather circular. in the center is a stag statue you can interact with. that starts the waves of mockeries

1 more question sorry for many, why would I ever use a sidearm if my weapon is more powerful?

1 flyblades throw lets them rotate around you for a while so you can throw them and use your main weapon it's free extra dps
2 maybe you want 2 different weapon types
3 armour buff totems on it still apply
4 you are leveling a main hand weapon and using a maxed side arm to so more of the dmg and just finish enemies off with main hand

5 offhand magick weapons are way cooler than main hand magick weapons (at least for currently available weapons)

Offhand weapons are also mostly ranged weapons, if your main is a melee weapon it is faster to switch and shoot some projectiles than it is to throw multiple times. Handy for objectives and loot balloons, or ranged enemies on top of a building.

OK, I just read a text summary of the devstream and there were a lot of good changes mentioned. BUT one thing that stood out to me was no mention of reworking the Armor system for enemies (armor being a flat number reduction). As long as the is the case certain weapons will always be bad (like dagger) due to doing 1 damage to everything that isn't trash. Is that not a concern of theirs? Is that not feedback that are getting often?

I played like 50 hours in my first 5 days. Then like a few a day until I decided that a combination of there being too many "Dead" weapon choices, and just having the "grind" remaining (vs actually having new content), was enough of a reason for a break. I was looking forward to coming back for p12, but I'm less sure about that now. 🙁

To be clear the game is really fun, and I'm sure it has a bright future. Just seems like a bit of a waiting game for now.

I second what Naito said above, imo basically all weapons are powerful, you just have to use the tools available. A lot of dagger users forget that they're meant to use beaver totems and heavy attacks, for example. When I use those, daggers melt bosses

Especially cuz you can't parry with hands, the knock back from parrying moves enemies far enough back that they're out of your range

Yeah, I guess armor being %reduction, vs the current flat reduction, would just make more sense and make playing every weapon "feel" good (since you can use every combination of attacks with the weapons). Right now it feels like head shots with Bows, or heavy hitting weapons for damage plus arrow volley, or flyblades, for "smite fishing", and that's it.
