theres a few interact puzzles that put water on the fire. 1. crate with a stack of barrels atop (break the bottom crate), 2. floating barrels (break the floating lantern/shoot rope). 3. broken cart with water barrel (go to the pulley under it, and aim the hook at the rope above the fire)

ya not sure what happened, but things havent been highlighting properly, been trying to mess with video settings but i cant see to get the spectral sight thing to highlight most things anymore

It's a boss, the frags drop from him, he's called the Wraith of the Wastes and can be found in Sidae's Stakke (the small corrupted wasteland area near the sotuh central part of the map).

Right now Courage + Tethren pact is this go to it seems for high damage on some weaps. If thats the route you wanna go just start off with something attuned to Courage and build around that. Level up your pact, add Runes, totems to weaps, etc You can also re attune other weapons to the virtue you want, for example the Juniper bow does crazy damage reattuned to it.

It's a very basic and common resource, so I wouldn't say it's the kind of thing you need to intentionally farm - you'll drown in it after a few hrs of gameplay

Focus on farming the actual tough things like fragments and runes, and the common resources will all come automatically. Just make sure you're opening every container, smashing the destructibles, killing enemies and picking up what they drop, etc

You want to use the third skill to ensure they can't see you and therefore not agro on you btw

Depends. For the base ones you get access to the Wyld variant of your pact you buy, as well as the gear and a weapon to go with it. You get a unique mote, you get a flower to plant in Eternium, you unlock access to buy the founders physical merch, you get some free arcs. You get a code for a free weapon skin in Warframe.. yeah I found it worth it enough to buy Paragon, but its up to you, especially since you have access already

New players don't really have a gauge yet on how rare vs common a particular resource is. So when they hit a roadblock trying to craft something (and river pearl is needed for quite a few good items seen here), then they'll think they need to focus-farm it even if they may not necessarily need to
