In my experience it's usually Oscelda's #3 skill in multiplayer + lag/desync. The skills effects end up becoming permanent until a relog.

I really enjoy the way weapons and armor are implemented. It feels meaningful when I unlock a new weapon unlike a lot of games where it's just constant stat rolling and trashing gear. Each piece take a fair bit of time to get and it's worthwhile to use them to level up your skills.

this has probably been asked a 100 times, but is there an explanation on grace, courage, and spirit? is there a breakdown on what 1 stat point does? do they just buff the damage for the associated class? just trying to figure if i should only put points into grace, or if i should be distributing more evenly

Also the attunement symbol count roughly tells you how much of that virtue you need to get maximum effect out of the weapon. Less symbols, less virtue investment.

Caviats about the weapon scaling, SOME parts of them scale more or less indefinitely with more virtue points.

Next question, how does the taming of animals work? i understand that not all animals work for each weapon, but whats with the level or whatever next to the animal when i tame it

Just some meaningless number for now as far as we can tell

You're talking about totems, which are the card-looking things with animals on them.
Each card has a 'class' of weapon they work with (symbol that looks like the weapon).
The number of the card is irrelevant.
The border around the animal is relevent. That's the rarity. Brown = common, gold = rarest
The rarity effects the intended 'value' of that card, and the cost of dust to level it up.
All cards can level up 3 times.
The cards all have 3 separate bonuses listed on them, this assosciates with the 3 slots they can be placed into.
A card can only be placed in 1 slot on a particular weapon, but duplicate cards can be used in the same weapon.
Runes (the circle in the center of the weapon modding) give you one extra slot of one of the 3 types.
If you have to fill 5 'flowers' while catching the animal, it's guaranteed to be a gold card. 3 and 4 seem interchangable at times, though that might be a bug.

The animals also have the same line of sight/stealth mechanics the Sinecure do, you can crouch walk right up to them and they won't take off like Usain Bolt 😄

Each of the individual Founder packs come with 2 friend codes, the full Paragon pack come with the codes of all three plus an additional four (A total of 10 friend codes).

The founder packs get you early access to the 'Wyld' version of existing pacts, players will be able to get those Wyld versions in-game at a later date.

Wyld versions of pacts have a slightly higher virtue bonus, and the pact art points gained from leveling them will go to the same pact tree as the normal version. So if you level up both a Wyld and normal version of a pact to 30, you'll have 60 points to spend on the pact tree.

The Wylds also come with their own weapons, although I don't know if that'll be a standard thing for Wylds or it's just a founder thing.

the keys are tied to the specific chest it was meant to be used on. so you'll just end up accumulating those, especially since the Bannerets, that do drop a key, have a chest that you don't actually need a key for

I am playing the Sirin pact because that was the most fun to me. But I am OBSESSED with the look of the Oscelda armor you can buy in the shop. And I see that the stats for it aren't good for the Sirin, my question is if I were to buy it, would it affect me enough that I would basically render myself useless? Or is the stat affection so minimal that it might be dumb but still okay?

The armor is purely for defense, it does not affect damage or stealth in any way, shape or form.

If you really like the look you can get it and use moonsteel threads to make one armor look like another armor set. The wyld Oscelda armor in particular offers mainly magick resistance and very little physical resistance. If looks are what you care about only, I would wait until the wyld things become farmable

I would work on polishing up skill in terms of dodging or parrying rather than relying wholly on armor to save you. It’s doable, just take it slow and grind up your gear and health

Pop your 1 & 2 then spam heavies - crowds will crumble pretty quick but the best is on the bosses. The consecutive stack will have you hitting for 2k+ on the last two hits and you will melt any boss

Stack Feybalt + Fellust and you don't even need to do heavies. You'll hit around 3k and melt a boss in about 1.5seconds~

Google says you can upgrade a pact using Harmony (what you get from taming animals), but I've never seen this "harmony" thing in game. Is this something that was in a previous version, or is it something I never figured out in over a month of playing this game?

Yes, I've done that, but animal totems have nothing to do with pacts. The reason I ask, is that Avokot sells a *** (3 star) Bromius. Google says you can upgrade from a pact using Harmony. Seems like some bug of some sort here.

They are fully randomised within the area I believe, so not possible to map

In general there are some places, like Kairness for example, with some real tricky generation (Kairness can put a mote wayyy in the woods to the north) but as long as you sweep the area you'll get them eventually

I believe reloging changes where the motes are as well as visiting the place again after an ingame day passed, for the last few places I was stuck with I just spammed relog until there was an easy to spot mote
