should go back to blocking after if held the block input. if u mean by count that you will be in the parry animation but block damage...i dont think so..only they get to do stuff like that

Why does this cave entrance marked in blue now connect along the red line instead of the green line, as far as I can see the cave at the end of the green line no longer serves as an exit to anything? I'm only asking because it is now messing up my boss run. Was it a mistake or intentional? Does anyone know if another cave connects to that exit on the end of the green line?

When you do a boss run you should exit where you enter because the exit randomly spawns you to different exit points

If you tab over to the recruiting channel in chat you can usually see a lot of people trying to group up for him and other bosses

Additionally if someone says "share" they are trying to "instance" it so you could potentially get 3 runs per 30 min cycle.

howdy fellers - just got the game and i forgot to level my virtues, so ive got quite a few points. I like playing with the flyblade skill, so im hoping to increase that range and duration. This is the common interpretation yeah - we know that the air of the Skytowers (where Ode reside) isn't breathable to human lungs so they need to use breathing apparatus to filter the air. And we see the Ode'n Mistrels expelling ichorous air on Midrath, which is presumed to be a terraforming effort to make that air breathable for Ode

Yeah. I saw this big thing come down from the sky a ways away and went to go check it out. That was a bit of a mistake. Only just found out through some questing that there's a way to disable the regen mechanic (but I don't know how to get that to work) lol.

you can side track a bunch, kill other camps but you can't do anything else really til you finish that fable. Use your skills, throw your weapon, don't try to go toe 2 toe

You should be able to fight it right about now. I'd take it slow and get an idea for what its moves are and respond with a single hit, basically trading move for move and not getting greedy.

ah yeah they do not go away, just change location. You do not "have" to do em where they are. Like if you go to the other side of the island, they'll spawn near you at lvl of the area. Best exp is to go NE area if you can handle lvl 30+ mobs

river pearls are mostly in swamp/river/any body of water u can find, it is quite rare.
the red one should be moranite right? it is from faction tale/tree stump with totem where u press 4-3-5-1, rare yellow chest, dungeon chest.
the scraps can be from speaker / thawtide event, really ez farming it that way.

yes, my suggestion is finish all main quest, then start to grind faction quest while also running boss runs. if you have friend, it is quite fun. faction quest/tales is similar to syndicate points in warframe, if you are familiar with that mech.

Purity and boss armor and the materials will slowly accumulate as long as you do faction tale and boss runs

treefell is an exclusive cogah (hard mode) rune drop from Mendicant King.

Yeah you have a lot more flexibility in soulframe than in warframe where it's mostly the frame. Here you can change abilities with the pact, or appearance with armour, or moveset with the weapons (and sidearm) - then you get the totems/runes/joineries for deeper buildcrafting on the weapons

The pacts are weapons agnostic too, so you can have fun with it... Tethren with a staff?, go for it. Oscelda with a greatsword?, have fun!

For weapons, their damage will increase as you gain points in the matching virtue (up to a cap, different for each weapon). For pact arcanics, for aspects that scale with virtue, courage boosts strength, grace boosts range, spirit boosts duration.

i love the sword and shield gameplay. however, im confused about the mechanics of it. when i raise my shield to block, nearly everything staggers me. im ranked 18 on Bog and Myrtle, and though they stagger everything kind of reliably, im confused about how to use the blocking to my advantage

blocking is used to literally just block attacks.
but you can time the block well to parry the attack aswell

tho you'll need to unlock the Riposte combat art to do a stronger follow-up attack. without the combat art it'll just be a regular light attack

im familiar with parry mechanics, riposte, dodge, and so on. however, as i said before, blocking doesnt seem to be effective. the only thing blocking is able to block is an arrow, but from my experience, taking a sword hit, or even a dagger seems to stun me. outside of investing in personal stagger resist, what else can i do to increase the effectiveness of blocking?

the weapons damage and other stats are increased by leveling it up so yeah you might not be able to deal with like level 30 enemies with a brand new weapon

its wildly inconsistent. at least from my experience. sometimes, the shield blocks a halberd. other times, im blown off of my feet by a one hand sword strike

ill continue testing it out, but the shield and sword are more like a can opener than a defensive tool

you have a stagger meter right under your healthbar. if that goes up by too much from a single attack, or fills up completely, you get knocked over

again, the effectiveness of the blocking of the shield is irregular. maybe i just need to use a different shield, and invest more heavily into my stagger bar

There's two weapon slots, primary and sidearm. You can wield a primary magic staff with a dagger sidearm, or a primary longsword with sidearm magic wrist cuff things. No way to currently use a staff + sword at the same time.

Although some of the sidearm daggers are quite long and could be called shortswords

The spawn order is random, and spawn triggers are limited both to certain locations and in a certain distance. What may be happening is you ending up in a spot with fewer Tale Start locations, and then having them be eaten by 1 and 2 stars, and when you wander off one of them despawns and can have a chance to spawn another of that tier again in a new start spot.

im in the north east area and just below, i know there is tier 3 spawns this way, but iv just done 2 tier 2s and nothing, i usually have all 3 to pick from.

The spawn points can spawn any level

So if you're in an area with only 2 spawn points in range, and they get taken by a level 1 and level 2, you may struggle to get that level 3.

At least, that's our understanding of how that system works

It never dropped even one fragment and i am at MR14. it feels too rare to not even dropped a single fragment across three item. and i run Stag, Vella and Hewyl as often as possible

rook iv heard got changed to the tier 3 mission drop pool for the grace faction, as for the gathannan another guy on here told me it took him 72 kills to get it, im at close to 30 and not 1 part yet.

yeah that doesn't seems right at all. ive grinded thousands of hours in Warframe with some low rarity item, but this is definitely way more mind numbing especially with the 30 minutes cooldown for bosses, and more for Siege.

Ig the problem is more so on the Cooldown than the drop rates.
