Can get 3 boss runs done in a single sitting which tbh yeah I get you dont wanna do 1+ hour of farm for 1 chance at the loot you actually want but atm the grind is already terrible so you might as well farm everything at once

Yeah, it's not as obvious for flyblades, I didn't realise you can even throw them like that when sprinting, I thought orbiting flyblades replaced the throw entirely, which is not the case (hence my confusion)

Yeah it ends on your death or if you run away after initiang a boss fight or a siege (you get a 30 sec timer to get back to the objective) but there is no time limit, you can drink cogah, kill the bosses and then just chill in your nighthold for 3 hours and come back for a re-run once they all respawn

so based on the current state of the virtues, my best bet if i wanted to play a spirit/grace pact like Sirin or Orengall is to either punt on my pact abilities doing any real damage and just dump all my stats into whatever weapon i want, or use a blessing to swap the weapon to courage?

It's a bit annoying with the lack of grace centered pacts I find. Then looking at the animal pacts and having bear for courage, stag for spirit, and wolf for.. also spirit, when it seems it would be fitting for grace. More stabby sneaky dexterous pacts please.
Well, courage is still the only stat worth anything anyway, but one might hope they make the others useful too.

i'm really enjoying the look of this game, the combat feels fun but man, i just wish these "frame" games had fun looting. opening a big golden chest only to get more crafting materials instead of say a cool new weapon or armor or something (i know this is part of monetization for these games) makes looting boring. I just feel like having fun items to find in the world would attract an even bigger population to these games

Thanks! I was kind of afraid of that. I like my staff and I'm not really a fan of having to switch weapons in order to progress. Joineries and levelling a weapon are the two major ways to increase damage directly. To increase your effective damage, also invest in the Magick weapon arts perk that gives stacking attack speed buffs while standing still, the Squirrel totem that gives attack speed in the attack slot, or the Beaver totem that applies a non-stacking armour debuff on hit in the attack slot.

If you've spoken to your faction leader, it's a good idea to relog. You'll start to see waypoints on the map in the shape of a rose with 1-3 stars above them. Those begin a little quest of a few objective's which reward standing at the end.

'Classes' are largely freeform, Pacts are just weapons but for your class and largely give you 3 active abilities, two unique passives, and the rest are generic and shared between pacts, your class never really gets defined.

And, as Wagii said, you can collect every Pact same as you can collect every Weapon.
