Weapons are only affected by their scaling virtue, but the other virtues still affect abilities (and potentially some other stats)

if you skill the attuned virtue the bonus dmg rises untill you hit a cap. Don't ask me how much is what... you need to put points in or remove them to see it. Unneeded points I put in courage for more skill dmg

Paragon is bad, but Purity is quite nice, but they're a bit on the weaker side as their relatively slower speed makes them harder to use than a straightsword, and they're not really doing a ton extra damage to compensate for it. They've got some janky hitboxes though. Still more than good eonugh for any content in the game

I just started playing the game and went with Tethren & Kith of Kings (since it was courage based so it seemed to align).

I noticed that I can't get the Ode Tempest pact being in Kith of Kings, and wanted to see if there was a way to switch that so I can work towards Ode Tempest? It sounds like I have to reach rank 3 before I can change factions though. Is there any way to re-start so I can switch that?

There were issues with people following the birb straight into a faction tale loop and out of the Fable.

it's bugged. if you had already played the game previously before this "test" system was introduced and coming back after a long hiatus, you won't get to test anything, you merely get dropped into your existing character.
