In any case, to switch Faction, find their Talisman, craft it (need Sacred Shimmer from your own Faction), then talk to the other faction leaders.
For Fables they recently added Waste Bear, so talking to Verminia should unlock that quest.

So collecting a Magick Staff, a Bow, a Longsword, a Greatsword, etc may give more options

Some weapons within a type also have different movesets, like some long blades have what is informally called a "cleaver" moveset which is chunkier and less elegant.

it's a process. go to a first floor alcove, look for the alcove that has a boarded up floor, break that and stand on the pressure plate. Then go to the second floor on the opposite side and go into one of the unlocked crypt rooms, look for the one specifically with a lever in the back. Then that sarcophogus will slide to the side revealing a pressure plate, stand on that and then go to the broken bridge with a pond under the gap and a platform will rise and the door on the other side will open up and reveal a "free" chest

For general build crafting, is it recommended to bump the stats of whatever pact boosts? Or is it good to specialise in a certain ability’s affinity?

I noticed that the pacts have 3 different abilities that all scale off different things, so with that in mind is it a good idea to kinda look at the abilities and bump the stats around one of those abilities depending on playstyle?

Like Tethren, that mostly bumps courage, but is it also worth bumping up spirit In case I want to mainly use their second ability to draw enemy aggro?

I do not get why DE is not acknowledging the Sap Tap issue. I have never gotten it past the Waste Bear quest back in P11, and they never bothered to mention it once despite the bug reports and people talking about it. Region could be locked intentionally or accidentally until you progress to a certain point. I know the world trees do prevent you from making a message until you've progressed far enough.

Can someone help me understand how the power level of my character is represented? I got a random quest to kill the Stag in the open world and his bar was grey which tells me that i'm probably too low level but im having trouble understanding where my power is actually coming from.
