When you enter a landmark/poi, the name will be obscured. You need to track down Motes (glowing yellow things) and use your soul pull ability on them to get lore/uncover the names of the pois

combat feels alright, impactful, only 3 skills is really tough (aka feels weak/boring) - mmos need more interaction - they need to explain stuff better, trying to figure out even just how to lvl up is poorly explained, quests need to make a bit more sense, add the poetry in if u want but explain stuff in simple terms especially important stuff not via riddle

Run Glades of Andurin, once in a while there should be a room that spawns an infinite amount of enemies that will continue to scale. Kill those until you can't anymore

your pact (the class) lets you have your healing ability first, then the next one you unlock is a flock of birds thats honestly the greatest stun ability in the game, and then "bestone" which is a stun that doubles damage on the next hit they take

Just pick something interesting pact wise, yes. You can change the scaling of any weapons with blessed joineries, so theoretically as long as they have 3 icon scaling they are the strongest

And weapons do not have any different nuances from each other besides model and said scaling. There's no elements outside runes

Even the rune and totem system is barebones and has been stripped further. You used to be able to stack 2 rats/squirrels on weapons that accepted the everflame rune, basically allowing you to actually build them for speed, but now you can no longer stack the same animal type twice

It's slightly disappointing in my opinion

Instead of adding more interesting effects to new totems in order persuade you not to stack 2 attack speed totems, which would allow them to also gather valuable pre pre pre pre pre alpha data (you know, this is still a stage where you can experiment?), they just disabled the option to stack them

Melee is full broken jank, they have ignored all traditional systems for a slow game for some reason, such as poise and hyperarmour on hits. You can swing charged heavy attacks with your greatsword, even finish the charging animation, and be instantly interrupted and sequentially staggered by anything just before the tip of your blade reaches the enemy

On top of archers and grenade throwing enemies being borderline oppressive (all ranged attacks in that manner)

Yeah once you unlock ancestor Verminia she'll brew them for you, you'll need a variety of flowers and mushrooms, but once crafted those 4 hues will be permanently available
