Im doing the invitation quest (spirit pact) the quest state is find alcas children in the Hilly-inn. my sparrow leads me to a cave; with a statue and a riddle. it asks for a blood red flower with leaves of blue (im certain its a sangelia) my issue is that it only gives me the options to offer it soulsbane, and lulilia.. i have multiple sangelia in my inventory. ive tried logging out and back in multiple times to no avail.

it's all farmable, so it's sort of like 'pay premium to skip the grind, or go do the grind!'

As for my opinion, I say just do the grind, you'll come across a lot of them passively and they're sorta all over the place. Blessed drops from bosses, polished and lower can be found in chests! You can also get both types from enclave offerings too!

Cord, the best thing you can do is back out of the bear quest with a relog and go find your blacksmith quest first. SoulFrame has a non-linear quest structure that can result in some unfortunate match ups.

For example, I use Bromius armor, so the bear, and with maxed-out animal totems for physical and magical defense, you add the 4% life steal as well as the pact with a maximum life increase that you can unlock with points, as well as life steal in the pact like Tethren, or you have Bromius which gives armor to better tank damage.

You'll also see that through your pact you can increase your grace, spirit, or courage stats by allocating points to it. That also increases your life

If you're using Flyblades with life-steal totems, when you critically hit and switch to your main weapon, you'll also steal life.

Oh at the start it was a way less speedy go brrrrr sorta game, I still remember when slide attacking with a melee weapon was the top speed you can get in that game. I think Soulframe did a great job of capturing a slower pace vibe that kinda reminds you of that era of warframe but is its own thing, just needs polish overtime, I can say for sure even with bugs and all is already way less janky than year 1 wf so that's sweet

So, the different editions give you access to a unique set of armor, weapons, and a wyld version of one of the three base pacts (tethren, oscelda, sirin) that do have some gameplay features. Armor at this point is mostly cosmetic, the weapons look cool but are kind of underwhelming for being paid-only (but since they're adding them as farmable items later on it does kinda make sense), and I haven't tested the pacts to see if there's any real difference but they do use the same arts trees as their base version, so you effectively get two pacts' worth of art points
