I was going to make a post about this because it's highlighted a problem for me but:
Normal enemies are great, well balanced, if you're on a good build you can handle them but fights are still interesting and can be deadly

Bosses however often get to a point where they're a bit of a slog once you're out of Rune charges. Rune attacks feel good against them, and normal attacks aren't bad but since there's no way to regain Rune charges once you've had your 1 Smite and Finishers only tickle them it can get kinda tedious

I think Finishers should be significantly stronger against bosses as an alternative to Runes for moments of worthwhile damage, it'd also reward skilled play since parries and perfect dodge attacks build up Stagger more

When I was fiddling with my stats Marrow's always came out a bit over Ceno in damage listed.

Though I only swapped between various Courage focuses, including halfsies with Spirit.

So on any Courage build, Marrow's will be better.

It's better until you just don't use Courage.

damage caps are reached once you get the maximum attunement out of a weapon (by increasing your virtues) - so like you can see your light attack is 216, and that can become 227 if you get enough courage and spirit

The heavy cap is deceptive because the in-game tooltip gives incorrect info, basically the damage cap for Gathannan is;

69 (the base damage you can see by subtracting your 147 from your 216) plus the leveling bonus from reaching rank 30, which is 54, and then plus the attunement cap (a bonus 69 x 1.5, which is 103.5) - note that this is 227, i.e. the cap for light attack

And then, from charging the heavy, you add the base 69 plus the attunement cap again (a further bonus 103.5)

Which gives 69 + 54 + 103.5 + 69 + 103.5 = 399 (the 431 you see on your UI is a lie)

It's because there's a new starter fable called 'Rise, Envoy' which you haven't played since it was added after you first started - you can replay it in your journal

Once you complete it, head a short distance up the path and it takes you straight to your first world tree to begin unfogging the map

Get 3 ribbons to craft it, it's instant at smith. Then you have to wear it and go to the shipwrecks (there will be locations on the map). You will have to go to 3 shipwrecks to have duels. After the 3 duels you are eligible to craft the duelo, now you need to grind the materials for the pact armor and weapons.

Which was a very interesting removal, I wonder if DE are just tightening their grip on timelines etc as they begin to build more, especially around Orlick's past? But then why remove Matthias especially as he's mentioned in the fifth history for Curlail?

Due to the latter one I'm actually inclined to think it's a bug more than anything else!

Anyway those are all there in case it's the location histories you're after @foggy fern . Or if it's spawnpoints you're looking for, that might be a little more difficult as they are highly randomised within the location radius - if you let people know what you're having trouble with though we can try and help out

It was an engine update issue. They wanted some backend overhauls and asked the community if they'd prefer waiting longer while they updated the old content, or getting the new content sooner but losing the old content. Community didn't want to wait.

And here I am cursing my ass off for getting rid of my lex and aklex primes.

Nothing is challenging, just low drop rates so you have to do the same thing over and over again

from what i can tell Teth wants you to quickly wrap up fights with its "heal on kill" thing which works extremely well, but then that pushes ye out of the attack speed buff

we're still in preludes fwiw, but the "Patch Notes" channel on this server has a lot of information to catch you up. My recommendation would be to drop back into the game and talk to Orlick in your nightsong, he'll have some things for you to do that you may have already done but it should catch you up pretty well. Other than that just explore. Shipwrecks now have some interesting stuff for you to find.
