I think that would unbalance the systems at play. We have arcanics as our class-lites here, with magick just being another weapon category. Again, what's done to one category should be done to all of them, and then we're asking for a complete combat overhaul and it's a bunch of drawing board ideas for the whole system, not just magick weapons.

Then you have your new pirate ancestor quest, new weapon/armor. The mace you may or may not have heard all about already, and its many many iterations. We don't yet know what we are doing with the extras, if not just selling them for a pittance of dracs. There is drama about what has replaced prisms. They have made combat more snappy and responsive in some ways. Audio improvements and some stuff has gotten resurfaced. Map is more involved. Lots of people are back to try the new update so its busier than normal. There are now random events that can happen.

TLDR: It's as good a day as any to play Soulframe, Envoy. x3

Unsure if answered, but weapon and armor scaling are very weighted towards pure.

I'm keeping my 2:1:1 spread and even at that, 33 Courage, I don't quite cap Gath and Purity.

The more even I go, the more damage evaporates.

You can use everything, sure, but not well, and there are like two weapons as-is I cannot use.

Dewelion being one of them sadly, with that 19 req.

Late cus I was on an errand, but yeah pretty much. Going absolutely pure will net you significantly better weapon and armor scaling, but you lose out on weapon variety and the bonuses from the two virtues you aren't focusing on. Go too wide, and you can use everything but it all sucks. I feel like 2:1:1 is a very good sweetspot, putting me at 33/15/15 right now, which puts most weapons at their attack cap and the ones it doesn't are at least close to that cap, and currently I only lose out on like two weapons out of all of them. I get enough armor scaling that I call it good enough, my charged attacks aren't as amazing as they could be but easily good enough, and I can still very much feel what 15 Spirit and Grace gives me.

Among any ratios, I'd recommend 2:1:1 as just the best middle ground.

It's about as wide as you can go without feeling substantial losses.

Get most of the benefit of both sides.

A friend just pointed something out to me. The whole reason the factions no longer have a CD on swapping was because of prisms and the increased need to swap between factions. The CD didn't play nice with the prisms being a thing, but prisms don't exist anymore.

So the sole reason they stated for that CD being gone is now no longer in play.
