There was an update where Sirin's distraction actually worked and opposing enemy factions actually fought each other unless you were very close to them. They didn't like this so they changed it to how it is now, where enemies will all simultaneously gang up on you, even opposing factions, as soon as you're in line of sight. At the same time they just broke distraction effects.

Not really. Votives, the quests from the world tree, do give bonus xp on completion. The wave-based arena spawn in the glades is still the most efficient for your time, vastly faster than before but limited in wave count.

Notice how the paths do not contain an equivalent number of objectives.

It's pretty easy to spot a bugged votive like this if you look for bugged generations.

If you see something like this again, skip it, it'll always have the same bug.

If you see the two votive paths converge before the end goal instead of on the end goal, skip that too.

The bugs are consistent but can be identified and avoided.

1 has been bugged in multiplayer for a while though, it often heals people at random and i'm not sure if it's supposed to heal everyone nearby or just the person with the lowest health or if it's even supposed to heal other players at all (though its description suggests it should)
