Dark Scythe or Tide Popper

So I got this nice blue hive rn but my preference is red hive so I want to swap asap. I heard that red hive is kinda bad before Dark Scythe but I slept on Riley and Bucko so I got 60 Bucko and 14 Riley. Now my question is if I should just power grind riley quest for the dark scythe to swap or should I first go for the tide popper to make more honey for a better swap?

wasnt anywhere a guide that said how much honey it is to get your whole hive to a specific lvl?

got another question Im gonna be blue for some time then whats like the easiest way to get the mythic bees gifted? I still got aged ginger bread bears should I just use those on mythics and what about buying a ton of royal jellies?
