I am a blue hive who uses planters+ I was wondering what the most efficient time to harvest would be. I would think it would be between auto and harvest every 2 hours.
Auto: The Auto option is a dynamic timer that automatically decides when to harvest for maximum nectar build. It scales the time based on the amount of bonus the planter gives for that nectar. The issue with this is because I want to turn on gather field nectar sipping which basically just places a planter in my field so my bees can sip from it to make it grow faster. This is bad because the macro does not accommodate for this faster growth and will harvest it way after it is fully grown leading to less nectar.
2 hours: If you want to prioritize nectar, set the harvest time to 2 hours. On the flip side, this will almost never let the planter in gather field exceed fully grown maximizing the nectar output it gives. However the other 2 planters will not be as good because it is not calculating the perfect time to harvest them for the most nectar.
I am not exactly sure how auto calculates its numbers and if it would be more worth it to leave it on or not. If there is a third option that is more efficient than these two, then please let me know as well.
