Few steps tutorial how to save the current situation :
-> rework quests so that they give 4 selectors over 1-2 weeks of upgrading your factory and all ressources needed to craft them, so every players have access to a generic card - it would not lower the value for low spenders / whales to purchase Selectors, as the system is designed for players to try and build multiples cards. Having a generic one easily accessible would make alot more sense. If you wanted to make it a limited thing, you could have those 4 selectors be forced +20% on a new "Beginner" card, with a weak effect.
-> remove battlewill, timeweave, bramble chips - they're literally all TERRIBLE design adding RNG onto every units in PvP Matches and making the game a LOT less competitive. While they might be fun for a week, in the long run it's literally making the game alot less E-sport viable, which used to be Etheria:Restart's direction.
-> remove the RNG on getting +20% stats with specific cards - Just make it baseline when crafting a Mythic Ship. You still keep the feature, so every Mythic cards crafted are still bound to be used on one card, and people still need 4 diff chips on every cards - it having RNG only adds insane frustration and makes everything very unbalanced.
-> change the rolls values so theres less RNG. Right now you can get from 14 to 25 spd crafting same thing, make it closer to the shell stats range, HP% on Shell is 24-30, Spd on Shell is 16-20 : When you get a low red roll, you're not doomed.
-> do not give more selectors f2p, instead only give random ones f2p after the 4 selectors from quest. This way you still push people into buying selectors in monthly, can also make extra selector packs on special events. leave 1 selector per season coming from Battlepass : This way low spenders can still somewhat achieve full perfect cards over a (long) period of time, and people are more tempted to buy Monthly Selectors to complete their specialised cards.
