Getting a bit tired of this, every T2 player abusing that shell, there is no need for me to explain why it's very unhealthy for the game, and this is clearly getting out of control, everybody plays that, on every characters, even the ones that have no business using it. Just goes to show how overpowred amber is. It totally ruins the dynamic of every match, makes the whole GvG experience an abomination, most of my union mate are disgusted about it, the whole RTA experience is ruined mostly because of it, every Etherena defenses have at least 2 amber in bruiser team, sometimes even more.

When there are such clear signals about it, i don't see why you'd keep the shell in such a commanding state. At this point i don't even care about the rest, this alone, is ruining the experience for everybody.

No that it matters, it's not like this post will be heard or anything, just wanted to put it out there one more time before that shit single handedly makes me quit the game

i don't think they will sadly, last patch they already had a ton of complaint about amber, a lot of feeback complaining about it, and they didn't do anything about it. They know at this point that the shell is a huge problem, it's just a conscious choice on their part

So she will be good against fu celince and plume she will stop plume from attack downing your team so you can't cleave

I would also assume she's complete garbage in turn 1, which is fine - if anything that allows you to build the units you seem to be missing if you're struggling to play turn 1 in current meta

i used to complain about amber but ever since we got another unit to deal with it (santik) it hasnt really been a pain point for me. atp if i lose to ambers its usually because i misdrafted. more t1 players just need to invest into santik and theyll be fine

Solution to deal with Fiamelia been a T1 CC player. (According to suggestions from Discord)

enemy locks fiamelia, go full cleave.
(Easy do not attempt to use CC)

enemy doesn't lock fiamelia, post ban her.
fiamelia ends up being too much of a problem in your specific situation, preban her.
(Deal with Ray, Tia, Lowan, Doki, Aya, Silph and others)

Now is my suggestion to T2 deal with CC. (Following the same logic)

You fight a t1 CC.
Don't be a t2, cleave then, easy win.

Much trouble deal with Nahor, Mio, RC77, Navette.
Don't be afraid. Pre ban they or post ban. It is easy.

Looking is very easy, I don't know why you have so many problems with CC.

Onto next point, how is Turn 1 not able to deal with Ray, Lowan, Fuq, Doki, Aya right now?
I do get that not everyone understands everything by himself, if you were to watch battle reports from people that understand the game better than you do right now as I mentionned you'd notice most turn 1 players do not preban any of the mentionned units.
Taking Yue as an exemple, he's forcing turn 1 drafts in the very top of leaderboard right now, pre-banning almost exclusively Freya.
You can find many of his games in the reports -- Most if not all units have answers right now.

About the "don't play cc against fiamelia" point, i dunno if you're trolling or not. Is your playstyle only about locking Nahor + Nevette, and any unit interacting with them overpowered?
My point was you can still play Turn 1 against fiamelia just fine - You can very likely CC a fiamelia comp too, the same way you CC a Doki comp right now
Taking one specific draft as an exemple, you could run lily + liliam + lowan so you're garanteed to either one shot/cc fiamelia on turn 1, and have nahor/nevette 4th CCing the rest of her team. T1 playstyle is not only press nahor s3 get a win, and if you can't work around units able to win against one units ability you're bad, T1 CC isnt.

I used to be only turn 1, switched to standard but still mostly play turn 1 - my t2 units aren't fully latted yet, and mostly playable against t1

I’m just saying it’s less of an amber issue, more of a raymerry issue. Honestly if they increased the threshold for raymerry to get stacks and made the execute on a cd, she’d be better. I think she’s fine being everywhere though as is. Defenses kinda always will default to the most annoying nonsense since the game is so easy to get pulls. Id rather deal with the manageable raybay meta on def than whatever the next annoying af thing will be. Devil you know vs the one ya dont and all that
