Eh aya honestly has a pretty straightforward kit. it’s just that her tools are inherently strong in any turn-based game. Idk. i think it’s fine for the kits to be kinda loaded since this isnt a family game like sw, but more single-character driven like e7 and dislyte which also have more bloated kits. Making a family feel strong tends to be easier than making a single, named unit strong

For Aya, the turn meter/CD- when anyone dies fits a turn1 starter to steamroll, while the passive heal/cleanse is a CC counter. She does too much.

The issue with this kind of character is how hard it is to balance; she may be a jack of all trades master of none, or a master of everything, which will be contested every match. It also makes it harder to balance future characters since you will have too many interactions, and some can be gamebreakers.

Honestly the anyone dies is more for bruisers or cc teams, moreso than cleave teams. By the time you kill as a cleaver, you should either be winning or losing but being able to be super tanky and then use momentum from field deaths to your own benefit helps more hybrid and cc drafts.

It's good to have, sure. But removing this passive wouldn't change her place in the Meta as a core cleanser/counter/momentum.
Looking at this mechanic only, you would imagine a codex character to overlap your opponents. Something like: Aya push, Plume def break, Liliam kills, Aya gets 80% meter and skill3 again.

That's why it feels like she is 2 different concepts mixed in one character.

My current beef is the hard push to make turn 2 be more dominate with bb upgrade and amber. All of which literally has been nixed by constant push of cleavers that due insane damage and T1 harem parties with insane speed. Hurts the heart when my 340 cc gets out sped to have the enemy drop a cleaver that spams full immunity to her party while eating most my hp. Cause I had to ban a messiah who can cleave my party and ignore all defense

Worries me we’re going to get another bb Amber buff to off set this now especially with messiah and senyu

There is no balance in a game that does 0 balance changes to animus except once every 3 months.

Thats a horrible balance for a game that’s focused on PvP that ships out 2-5 characters every month. And most those characters are over loaded kits that probably and should have needed tweaks

I know probably next season we’ll be making the same complaints about turn two being too strong. Or cc being too strong.

You are not understand with someone who play every playstyle. Yes t1 is very strong right now but you gotta commit into t1 by putting a lot of lattices so you exceed at t1 but not everytime you can cleave anything.
And yes cc is the strongest playstyle but it’s very random, you missed one and you lose. Also w the help of Senyu doki, it’s impossible to play cc without consider them.
And finally the root of everything, t2
still very strong that 100% more consistent then t1 but with the help of nahor and many cc units. You cannot play slow w them

I returned to the game with the Return Path event, up to today still didn't find any yellow speed (only two yellows, crit dmg and flat def) and my fastest character has 318 speed 🥲
The only way I can play pvp is with bruisers and units who can resist/dispell CC

I won’t repeat the issues with component RNG or the current state of the game, as I believe these points have already been well covered by many players in this thread.

Instead, I’d like to share the impact this system has had on parts of your community.

For context, BearMaster is a competitive guild ranked in the top 10 in global GVG and top 4 in the previous EUC. Individually, we have eight players who finished in the top 50 RTA last season.
Our guild consists of whales, mid-spenders, and light spenders, so we represent a broad spectrum of player perspectives.

While we’re trying to maintain excitement around the ongoing EUC, several members have privately told me they plan to quit after the event ends because they’re fed up with the current state of the game. Most of them are whales and mid-spenders. Surprising? Not really.

The game has reached a point where even loyal players are starting to doubt its future. Their trust is fading, and they’re choosing to step away before things potentially get worse.

Personally, I care deeply about this game. I’ve never been this involved in any gaming community or spent this much time providing feedback. I genuinely hope I can continue playing and competing—even if it means getting beaten by top-ranked players—rather than walking away like this.

I hope meaningful changes come soon, before it’s too late.
