as we all know, EFF RES is able to reduce the probability of skills landing by half. In my personal opinion, I think this should be slightly better if possible. I'd like EFF Res to reduec the probability of skills landing to 25% or 33% of the value instead of half so that why EFF Res is still a good stat to invest in, but not hinder the role of debuffers.
Basically I'm asking a compromise where the playerbase would feel less frustrated with the EFF Res check FEELING bad, while also retaining XD's vision of debuffers being very important in this game.

I understand that this was an intended design to make debuffers feel powerful, and maybe make PvE itself easier for people to land their debuffs with lower EFF ACCs builds. however, IN RTA/PvP, it feels pretty sad to play as a defensive/eff res player
"just draft cleansers" isn't even a solution either since there's limited options of cleansers, on top of them having to rely on eff res as well to make sure they can cleanse their allies. Alicorn isn't a guaranteed solution as it can cleanse the OTHER debuffs rather than the HARD CC'S

can we add a new RIZZ stat line. the more you have the more aura you can farm
and whoever has the most aura at the end of match wins the match
CC is worse than bruiser. If someone is lucky enough to have a high speed Lily and Heinrich, their CC is practically unstoppable in Etherena, especially in Obol. Ninety percent of the time, they’ll land a stun even if you have 300% effect res, because bulwark will be dispelled, and they apply multiple debuffs so Alicorn won’t help either.

as a cleave player, the only CC thats consistant is KAZ, the rest are god awful, Mio always misses the important ones, Obal is wierd and his stun feels less consistant than the dots themselves. and Nahor isnt actually that bad.
But its mostly multihit CC that are broken and not all CC
Honestly the fix to CC is reduce the amount of hits they do by 1 (2 for kaz and obal or even down to 1)
Tfw Lilith doesn't even get a mention in the lineup
Yea idk what nonsense I just read ngl. Sat through a 15min cc game just a little while ago and can confidently say eff res should be made better if anything. LL at 300 ER managed to stay un-cc’d until the 3rd Obol s3 and it was just game over. Sat there unable to play in the hopes my Holden would resist just ONE of KTR’s 2turn sleeps (ele adv means nothing in this dogshit game lel). All that to say: If anything eff res isn’t strong enough. If I stack full right eff res I should not be receiving a single cc unless the opp has full right eff acc
haha my obal has 270 eff acc, and i hate that my cc isnt consistant
problem is you run max res i run max acc, we both average out at 0 and its 3x 40% so its in my favour, but still its a feel bad for both sides
True. Idk, the multi hit cc is just a miserably dogass design imo. It really makes the whole scenario that much harder to balance

Unfortunately with these devs it's possible "and there's a 30%..." applies to the entire previous statement, so that can't prove much. However, I've seen him stun on earlier hits, so,
I completely agree w that. But yea, like u mentioned, I’ve seen first hit cause stun so I’m more inclined to believe that even w the shite wording, it means each hit has a chance to do both
But what if, this being Etheria Restart, somehow it still is the last hit

if u read what i posted, i suggested they can improve eff res check by , instead of halving the probability chance, they can instead lower it to 33%
so debuffers would still be a menace in this game
but eff res stackers in rta would feel less oppressed
funny thing is that nerfing eff acc would just make pve harder than what most people can handle, with how many complaints there are
it's better to just change how the eff acc vs. eff res check works imo

so unless they nerf eff acc while also nerfing bosses's eff res at the same time

Well since they make dps with debuff approach like that,for example holden and new shark boi
100% chance on crit but lower to 50% chance,so applied to pve then its gonna fk lot of char like that
ultimately, it's up to them 🥀 we'll see if they actually wanna buff defensive playstyles in the future after this complained about BB meta
