Overall this announcement is great despite the backlash with the vague plan for the game. I'll just list some of my feedbacks to the announcement:

  • Improving Communication & Community Involvement

This is a huge change if they actively communicating to us. let see in a few days if this improves.

  • Time Sink Solutions In Process

I'm assuming they'l do a 20x continuous battle for late game players who clears it in 3*. Any time saving QoL is a good change for me

  • A Healthier Monetization Approach

i don't mind whales getting ahead because that's what they're paying to win is supposed to do.

  • Animus Skins

Maybe if the skins also change the S3 animation i'll break my f2p status

  • PvP Meta & Real-Time Arena (RTA) Considerations

i rarely do RTA and just do fearless until the weekly limit so as for me, a mid season change is a spice up to the meta so the battle feels fresh. but the high/top players would likely disagree. Maybe the pre bans on all rank should be added so even low ranks can feel how the high rank battle works. and also they needed to incentivize doing RTA more as i can feel the queue times getting longer even on mid ranks.

  • Gear & Customization Upgrades

Looking at the plans and the early screenshots, this would be one of the highlights that needed more discussion. Some things i would also like them to add/change:

  • module reset
  • backload upgrade cost
  • filter loadout specifically for 1 character. like assign that loadout to only show on this character.
  • Module essence also drop in thresholds(rare)

  • Inferno Rengokutsu – Help Is on the Way

This is just feels sour to me like "selling the solutions to the problem". i was surprise earlier on with the heavy nerfs on niconana and nerfs to other inferno shells, but keeping the rengo state is wild. 5-10% atk,speed,hp reduction for me is a fair start for the nerf not with this super niche unit solution like Rilmocha type of character to Doki2.

  • Future Events

in the announcement, only the dreamscape got heavily mention since this event comes with a great rewards. but i'm hoping that this change also affects the future events to reduce the rng aspects.

  • Global Launch Celebration | What's Next?

I've combine this point as this can be the same topic. besides the massive meme, i'm just happy that the game is still improving and keeps listening to feedback of their user.

  • More feedbacks
  • Improve the UI. since some UI appears to be useless and confusing as to what they're suppose to work like the workstation and the chaku ring. i mostly use TAB for navigating all of it.
  • Continuous battle FAB always active even inside battle
  • add a keybinds for pausing the fight(why is this not bindable anyways)
  • controller stuff. the game should not accept inputs if the window is not active/in background, the control is so limited
  • Friend/Union live spectate.
  • toggle for camera panning in battle
  • Grim pursuit auto scroll to the end like how Investigation/GP scroll them
  • copy team to battle. add this button when viewing other players strategies.
  • skill priority of auto
  • multiple continuous battle
  • new difficulty for investigation/GP outpost
  • 5x speed in pve, 2x/3x in pvp
  • reduce/remove the walking on ET and remove filler stage
  • reduce the ET supply hub rng
  • Ethernet rally is a sleeper. reduce/remove the filler stages
  • PT vote to early finish
  • reduce/remove 2 matrix in Inferno thresholds

Honestly this announcement rubbed me really the wrong way.

-Rengo: selling new characters to fix an issue is...I dont even wanna use the words I'd like to use. What happens to new people in 2 months? Why should we have a banner to fix absurd game design?
And this comes from a person who's been farming rengo for 1.5 months now so I'm not even affected.

-Forge event: another 'save now use later' mechanic. Also, additional layers of ingame currency for it? I am really curious about what happens but it seems like a 'revenue is low, we need to add more currencies' type of reaction.

-No addressing about the shell system: I am closing in on 30million shell currency and 10000 reconfig chips. I am personally not rolling more than the bare minimum until the system gets some sort of support for the horrendous RNG it has right now.

-No mention of a reset: at this point I feel you are trying to deliberately piss us off. Give us a reset event already, this is beyond levels of aggravating. And again, I'm a light spender with pretty mich a full roster and clearing all PvE and going high in PvP and this STILL pisses me off to no end.

-Shop overhaul and skins and the character avatar: this is actually good as the current shop has close to nothing worth buying and the skins are recolored garbage. Also, nobody cares about the avatar, literally nobody; the notion that we have to go through tedium for this stupid avatar only to sell skins for ir nobody buys is infuriating.

Let's wait and see what happens but for me this announcement really misses the mark.

Not to mention, how hard is it to nerf Rengo 10% and give us a reset? This would fix SO MANY ISSUES with ZERO EFFORT; I just don't get it man, it drives me nuts.

Without C clearly busting his ass over this game I would've likely even stopped posting to try and help somehow get points across and fix the issued the game has.

asides from Nahor and maybe pre-buff Liliam, all the release units is strong in their intended roles so i already expected the release new unit to be strong. and i don't mind new units as long as they're not heavy latice reliant character

And not the blue element green and red need some real help from the buffs debuffs department, it's really unbalanced right now, while taking into consideration that we have elements restrictions in some content which make it even harder with the lack of utility in some elements

Some are usefull in PvP but useless in PvE and vice vversa
