Overall this announcement is great despite the backlash with the vague plan for the game. I'll just list some of my feedbacks to the announcement:
- Improving Communication & Community Involvement
This is a huge change if they actively communicating to us. let see in a few days if this improves.
- Time Sink Solutions In Process
I'm assuming they'l do a 20x continuous battle for late game players who clears it in 3*. Any time saving QoL is a good change for me
- A Healthier Monetization Approach
i don't mind whales getting ahead because that's what they're paying to win is supposed to do.
- Animus Skins
Maybe if the skins also change the S3 animation i'll break my f2p status
- PvP Meta & Real-Time Arena (RTA) Considerations
i rarely do RTA and just do fearless until the weekly limit so as for me, a mid season change is a spice up to the meta so the battle feels fresh. but the high/top players would likely disagree. Maybe the pre bans on all rank should be added so even low ranks can feel how the high rank battle works. and also they needed to incentivize doing RTA more as i can feel the queue times getting longer even on mid ranks.
- Gear & Customization Upgrades
Looking at the plans and the early screenshots, this would be one of the highlights that needed more discussion. Some things i would also like them to add/change:
- module reset
- backload upgrade cost
- filter loadout specifically for 1 character. like assign that loadout to only show on this character.
- Module essence also drop in thresholds(rare)
