The mvp is non other than Nahor unironically.
Def break is really strong against bruisers and Nahor does everything right against bruisers.
Also, secondary rev users like heinrich/celince can one shot non bb targets with def break on.
That being said, bruisers are still really strong so a hybrid cc/cleave is needed

lost this one due to sania revive but it's super close and comfortable considering hein is the sole dps

What's the difference between Nahor and just... using Mio

if u havent tried def break on bruisers

trust me

u hit them with a support and it does a boat load of dmg

and against holden/rahu, their dmg is reduced as well

not only that, u freeze

the only thing is the game decided to lock cleave behind a somewhat niche unit like nahor

At higher levels, the standard cleave was actually Heinrich => Mio/Obol or Obol S2 => Mio. Usually it was with Yeli or Massiah as the cleaver. Both have def break or def ignore. This is why Nahor didn't pop off.

Now, what might make Nahor pop off is Lilliam since she needs a def break to one tap. If Lilliam numbers were better...

I don’t disagree defense break is very strong. I have lost games by letting kloss through who is normally not a problem but when she def breaks mizuki or Holden and you can’t cleanse it they do no damage

yep, the issue is cleanse/immunity, so if heinrich is banned then obol can take the job

If I had to guess it’s because holders counter while a passive is not coded as such. It’s attached to his skill 1. Most passives occupy skill 2 and say passive

the def break isnt the reason your winning here its just CC, run obal or Kaz or Mio

all 3 are just better

obal brings more debufs to counter alicorn, Mio does wound on the freeze and kaz has a 2 turn cc for the sania

Another team is to run holden as a stripper plus eff res down debuff. This way u can steal a bruiser and also pre banning lingluo in rta would be a really good idea for this comp

still finding replacements for heinrich which is pretty hard
