Don't understand why these devs are so slow to comment on mistakes they have made, it'll just be worse in the long run. If you don't know the Thai language version of Etheria's patch notes said there would be a free ssr selector next week for summoning a certain amount (yes a summon event a week after a hyped units comes out kinda scummy) but the patch notes where shortly deleted and any threads were deleted off of discord, my question is why. It's easy to say it was a mistake and give like 5 pulls as a sorry and this would all blow over but like usual they drag their apology on and on until everyone expects the event/reward and then everyone gets angry.

i''m quite sympathetic to the idea that they don't want to make statements at the risk of setting expectations incorrectly and the community blowing up over it. tbh like it or not that is what would happen and that is something people need to understand.

however my biggest annoyance with the game, more than the resource issues, is the current level of official communication. imo C does a great job, and deals with the brunt of the negative sentiment when conveying what the thoughts are, but what he does should be **supplementary ** to official statements.

they need to be announcing when mistakes like this happen and suck up the backlash - right now idk if i need to be holding onto my tickets

they need to also finalise, and announce what's coming down the road for changes into the game. i think this patch is really positive, but it's maddening not knowing what's coming for events/systems. or even having the vaguest idea of what can be expected next

I think what we need from the dev is a clarification whether that event is real or not because if people end up spending all their pull tomorrow when the new SSR come out then the next week the event indeed happen, people will get angry.

That's what I disagree on; it's a vocal minority of people who paint a picture which is way different than what the actual consensus is.

Their communication has been consistently above average compared to 99% of Gacha games and it has gone increasingly better with time based on community feedbacks.

What I contest is that this community has a problem of loud crybabies who don't realize that the game devs don't owe them jk st; yet, they are trying their best to accomodate us.

I agree on the first part but at the same time, it's the vocal minority of Discord dwellers who constantly cry about anything and everything; also, these are the players who won't even be here in 2 weeks regardless of what devs do. If they give them too little, they cry and quit; if they give them too much, they get bored and quit.

Most players/content creators are level headed people who understand long term implications of changes and are happy with the direction of the game.

It has been getting increasingly better since the start, that's all we need really.

It's not just the fact the it was mentioned "in one language" it's the fact it was mentioned at all, unless they use ai to write their patch notes too then that means that event exists and could release at any time and is ready to be released at any time, it was just put out there too early. No human would write a paragraph for a made up event that doesn't exist

My issue with both your post and the things you write is that you take something which is correct and accurate and you blow it out of proportion based on nothing.

"Youtubers are talking about it" is an intellectually dishonest statement based on the very first degree of fact checking I made, considering theres like 10 more content creators aside from the 3 mentioned.

Everything you write is pure speculation based on a patch note that was quickly deleted.

Why and what could've happened? Well, let's see:

-Could've been that they originally planned to have those events and this was an older version of the patch notes they didn't correct in time and fixed as soon as they noticed.

-Could be that these events were originally planned for that time and they canceled the planning and will release them when they are actually ready.

-Could be that these events are still going to be in place but they didn't want to disclose it and somehow they didn't scrub one of the languages and it leaked.

-Could be.......

You see how it took me 5 minutes to generate 3 possibilites out of my a** which have the same chance of being true as anything?

In this patch they released three huge quality of life changes, based on community feedbacks. namely:
-They added tabs for PVP vs PvE setups, which is a huge W for me
-They added a pity for shells. Again, huge W for me
-They nerfed properly Rev, which again is a huge W for me. I also tested it in PvP and rev teams are still relevant, they are just not as oppressive

Do we want to improve futher? Ofc, but I see consistently good steps in the right direction

Nah this has to be a joke right? Massively changing stats of PvE bosses compared to beta, Aurora being immune to DoT, Rengo suddenly being immune to DoT were all things that should have been stated in the initial patch notes.

They also take forever to address things (though communication) and we have to rely on c for tidbits, nothing from in game announcements or anything

Point is, the reasons why that patch note was up in the first place could be many, most of which do not assume bad behaviour; OP just jumped immediately to the worst with no basis for it.

From a project perspective, my bet is that they had a first round of patch notes, timelines of events and whatnot; they finalized the release version and one of the languages slipped and they corrected it.
