Heinrich (in truth, anyone with buff block?) buff block doesn't allow Amber's undispellable (Yellow buff icon) to proc and leave the unit with 1 hp.

In addition to amber clearing all debuffs before proccing, the buff block interaction should not affect an undispellable buff icon, just like every other undispellable buff we have.

Is it block or wound? Amber mechanics keep changing lmao.

Also, why shouldn't Block or wound counter Amber? Fits with the whole CC > Bruiser > Speed > CC assuming equal levels of gear

Technically Amber doesn't say "Clear all debuffs and then heal/ice/whatever". It says they all happen, not necessarily the order. So heals happening first and then cleanse makes sense. It also a great use for Block/Wound to be relevant

it is wound and it is a good counter

amber is pretty toxic and can be abused on dps units to get 1 ult out 100% which in most cases is enough to cleave

nah its right the no hp at the beginning is bc yeli folow up is alrdy calced into it

only wound keeps you at 1 hp which is a solid counter and playaround in my opinion. Without it amber is super broken in some tactics

Oh I see, i guess thats a glitch but not an amber one lol. Ig, just wonder if that was design or bug though, if its a design it must be because they proc all at same time like versailes said.

it happens on my yeli too in your case it showed zero HP bc your yeli had enough follow up to kill. In my cases i ahd oftentimes amber on 1/4 Hp bc my yeli couldnt finish it off

Yeah and about play arounds I think its more of a bigger meta decision, amber can be cancer in the classic dps like messiah cheese and stuff, but the rev punishment on tanks, the cc and now a heal block to counter one of the only shells tanks have kinda sucks

rev counter is lighthosue which works. CC counter shell is Amber actually

bc cc teams dont have the dmg to kill you in your ice state

They destroyed Amber officially. They turned the bugged Amber into its intended function. Lmfao.. gg devs. You killed Amber. Wtf is she cleansing AFTER healing.... which means she won't proc Amber if buff blocked or heal blocked. Such an L patch.

Ya, I definitely think it’s a feels bad moment, but that’s only because I’m a turn 2 player. I’m sure all the turn one players would have something to say if amber cleansed first.

On another note, I was a firm believer of building amber on Liliam because it says in her passive that’s she’s immune to all turn meter reduction effects. That’s clearly not the case, because the amber proc still reduces her turn meter. Is this a bug or intended behaviour?
