Yeah it's not going to balance out for every player. Some players will get lucky. Others will get nothing from the "most generous event". Those players will get frustrated and quit. Easily avoidable but we have to have RNG everywhere.

Then you can also have a pool of extra premium rewards you can possibly get with some luck.

Nothing wrong with a little bit of RNG in an event, but it should be 20% or so difference from getting lucky to unlucky, not someone gets 1.5 lattice and someone else gets .3 of a lattice

Ngl, I was wondering what was going on. Half of my union feels like they've quit overnight when they were just active last week. Hearing about a lot of people quit in the world chat recently too. I'm still playing and enjoying the game but then again, I can clear most of the content. It's pretty clear that the player base is shrinking here and there's a ton of unhappy players. • Averages hide the spread: extreme luck vs extreme bad luck

• perception of fairness is more than what the numbers can ever represent in rng systems. ie if one player does all content gets nothing vs another player opening one box and getting more than that player

What would be more helpful is if they looked at the data for the exchange shop and not the boxes as these rewards are "guaranteed", the boxes were just poorly executed

I bought 15 keys and I calculated I don't need to buy more to get all the lattice boxes and buy out all lattice in the shop. This cost about 4500 crystals but I also bought crystal boxes for some returns. I am close to 40 fragments from the lattice boxes. If I am lucky the remaining boxes gets me enough to finish 1 perfect lattice. 3500-3800 crystals (after calculating crystals from the crystal boxes) for 2 perfect lattices, a lot of etheria coins, exp books, and probably enough to buy the apex summons sounds like a good deal to me.

Yeah, you can clear all content easily, only arena style PvP. Events are easy and you clear out the shops. They have harder PvE content in events that are essentially bragging rights.

Art style is solid and the story mode is surprisingly good.

I like a bit more grindy/PvP gachas so I switched to this.

But there are things I love about SoC, art style, not having super sexualized characters, a bit more gritty and smart story, SRPG in tactics style.

It's def a "side game" though, even so I just play 1 gacha at a time cause I'll play other games not in the genre

Max refreshed the event every day thus far and have cleared out the 300 lattice shard box
Keys Used: Roughly 21 keys + daily free keys
Cost: ~6300 Crystals (or like 75$ USD)

Hope the data is helpful - I personally think there should be more lattices for spending that much given that you can buy a lattice for like 30$. That or lower the cost of key refreshes potentially to make it more accessible for people.
