Hey everyone! I’m a free-to-play player and just getting serious about optimizing my progress. I’ll be using this thread to ask all my future questions so I don’t clutter the main help channel.

Main Goal:
I’m aiming to rank high in Arena, so I want to make sure I’m building the most important team possible with my current units.

What I’m Looking For:
• Help identifying my best current Arena team
• Tips on which units to prioritize (for investment + resources/stamina)
• If I’m missing any must-have units, let me know so I can aim for them
• Any extra PvP insight from the veterans would be super appreciated 🙏

Uhhhh idk if you should be worrying about pvp rn but tips for rn is just work on shells, they basically will carry you

max diting s2 > s3 to 4 > s1 to 4 then max them when u get stuck , lily s1 , xiada s2> s3 and thats pretty much ur pve clears, for def break id say dinah and try to hold on ur longest till u get lingluo for healer. green kaz for doki

and start looking at ur pvp roster from lvl 75 onwards id say

im 78 and im still ironing out 100% clears and not too focused on pvp

For units wise if your serious and deadass wanna climb in RTA you have to look into some weird characters and actually read descriptions, example asshu, if you watch seanb yk this man loves asshu, but no one uses him because of his shit ai, but in pvp this guy can help you a ton with the right characters but also rin the unbowed will help you as a speed scaling dps, she dead ass one shotted seanb’s arena team today, holden is fucking ABSOLUTELY FUCKING AMAZING PELASE BUILD HIM ON SWIFTRUSH TIMEWEAVE, IF YOU USE BRAMBLE UNBREAKABLE YOU DONT UNDERSTAND HIS KIT,anyways, obol will be a good pick for pvp too, his s3 stuns so you build him
On a fast high acc build you basically win because you are guranteed to move first, other great cc picks are kraken, or kazuyo the rev.

Play if if you want 1.golden lattices if yoyr up for the challwnge 2.summons

I would say you should only step into RTA once you unlock atleast MINIMUM one inferno module mode

also, if your massiah does more damage, you can use him over diting as well. Both are good at ST damage.

Move your lily speed gear to marvell and dinah

the speed tuning is very important for niconana

because of the fact that your damage is gated by how much faster your units are than niconana

If you don't have the gear right now, farming for modules, or just nightmare niconana for better shells and shell passives will help as well

But you should be trying to make a team for niconana hell. That's your gateway into the other hell modes.

You can also farm nightmare niconana for red shells, but the rate is lower, and you can only get white fang and artisan. Getting access to gigabyte will help your supports down the line.

And you do need 10 of the same type of red shell to max level it.

I also recommend trying this same team in nightmare niconana.

To help you get a feel for the mechanics. Yes you can brute force now, but I saw you fail sometimes. I bet you can tune this team such that you can win 90% of the time on auto in nightmare niconana

This part of the teambuilding is what I enjoy in this game, but I know that varies person to person.

being able to switch gear between units freely lets you really tune your teams for auto.

gigabyte is good for supports, since it gives more turn meter

artisan is also good for supports because it gives themselves and another unit a shield

alicorn is mostly for pvp, you can just hold them, but don't level any.

For shells, you can imprint a shell of any level and passives into a lvl 1 shell with the matrix sets you want.

So there is no risk to leveling a shell with the matrix set you don't want, because you can imprint later.

Viper wants S3 maxed, S2 maxed later for consistency

Skill up order would be (in my opinion, ask others for opinions):

SSR skillups
Lily S1, Xiada S2, Xiada S3, Lingluo S1, Lily S2

SR Skill ups
Valerian S3 Kazuyo S3 Viper S3 Viper S2 Kazuyo S1

For the SR skill ups, you can just focus skill ups on whatever unit is being used in the inferno you are building for

So, based on where you are, you just need to get maybe 2-3 max lvl mythic shells. Try not to reroll for passives too much, but any decent one (dmg for dps, hp/spd for support) is good enough.

Then just clear everything to the hardest difficulty of nightmare, including terror, doki, and aurora.

After that, you can decide to try to clear any of the modules for hell. Try to get as far as you can for any of them. Once you know where your limits are, that can help you decide if you need to continue to farm modules vs shells.

Alternatively, after clearing nightmare for everything, you can try to do hell for sharon and hoyan.

Diting’s DPS isn’t that great since he’s still stuck with Harvest Keeneye, which I know isn’t the best for him 😅

Cachi is only good if you can kill niconana without the damage amp from the speed difference.

Sounds like to me you are losing because diting isn't hitting hard enough
