Gear presets are only a problem to people who have never played games like epic seven. That game has never had presets it also has the molagora system that works just like gold lattice except you need EVEN MORE and the thing is all these problems used to be the same in epic seven but not anymore because these are all diluted throughout the games lifespan and as you tick of each character you build the resources slowly start to stack. I am aware that the Devs announced a "Special Shell" that will drop. Yet there are two glaring issues with this to which it honestly is just a convoluted band-aid on wound that is too large.

1, you already have players showing screenshots of their farms in Inferno Difficulty that are absolutely abysmal rates to the point that people have gotten all epic shells on the 10/10 run.

The addition of yet another shell does not fix the rate issue at all nor the currency issue, because it's just another shell in the pool of horrendous drop rates. That doesn't solve the issue of the actual desired shells dropping on the Highest Difficulty for farming.

2, Yes it was stated in the conversation that it will sell for more, but Shells sell for Training Data, not Etheria Coin which is a absolute huge Bottle neck that no one in this discord can even begin to deny and if they do, they do not understand the competitive nature that quite of the few remaining players have. I have people in this community on this x2 event who have been gear checking and rolling for stats and each and every one of them have ran dry on coin.

Not to mention additionally that you can quite litterally spend millions of training Data on Passives for Shells and end up with nothing. Days gone with Zero progression because of a very, very flawed system.

So no.. the issue was not addressed in either of the two videos posted.

If 10x daily refresh remains infinitely sustainable for no or low spend (monthly pass/battle pass type shit) then I'll change my mind

As it stands I can refresh for 3x the stamina in other games at much lower cost, especially during the 4 months of anni events they all have now

I don't consider the stamina cap "generosity" either

There's this other game I play called AFK Journey where you can pretty much sweep content right after clearing it once for the day. Like literally simulate the whole battle in a second. Win or lose. I dont see why Etheria can't do that when the fights are running in their servers and not in our phones. Honestly, and where my opinion stands currently. The devs are going to have to do something huge to regain the playerbase that has left. The reality is, a lot of people who were sponsored, including the person who is my clan leader in another game, are dropping the game because there is no insetive to want to keep playing.

Sure more casual players will come, but just like with every other game in the gacha space. It's not about players trying your game. It's about retaining it, and they are doing a poor job of it right now.
