Rengokutsu - Inferno - Imposible to make it stable!

I love the changes posted on twitter with the upcoming changes nerfing a lot of biggest offenders. But why not the worst one by far is being addressed ?

Rengokutsu even if doable its the most RNG boss out of the 4 module bosses and its impossible to make it even stable 50% of the time with extremely good gear and tuning.

Can we get some love here with this issue ?

So far doing semi-manual at 50% pass rate but no one else in guild can even do it at more than 10-20% pass rate and we are full of whales.

well there is a reason why it's 50% to prevent people like you from pulling too far ahead. It's clear they are intentionally making content insanely hard to keep 70-80% of the people at hell IV and nico shell

i saw the patch notes and immediately looked at how many complaints there are on discord about this. rengo inferno is BY FAR the worst along side astarte (hell) atleast from my experience. speaking as a whale as well, they need to adjust these not at a later time but as soon as possible

Right now what i am doing is farming inferno terror manual while autoing niconana 100% wr

wait for future nerf then i go to rengokutsu

so i dont waste stamina, i will never return to niconana in the future

cause i probably will have spent 2-3 weeks

i think you're misunderstanding things. in life, and in all types of games like this people who spend money and spend a crap ton of time will ALWAYS be ahead no matter what. what we're talking about is how RNG infested BAD the actual fight is. we, who are "AHEAD" will eventually be able to somehow either farm this on 100% when a new unit that can help us farm this better comes out or we find new P2W strategies. but then when will normal people be able to clear this? its inevitable and the shells arent even a hyper boost for any content. its a matter of resolving this issue for us and play around the shells we want to use.

5/5 yeli's with maxed out skills are still having an annoying time with this on farm. thats telling of how bad this is, from a matter of how hard the boss hits and that if it passes a certain amount of time your team just gets wiped out because of the damage the boss dishes

Rengo is overtuned, its pretty simple. If invested players cant clear it reliably then everyone else is literally not participating. 50% clear rate is certaintly better than 0% which 99% of players are at for this content, so if you think that this is slowing down the top 1%, then it isnt. It is just gating the other 99% from even competing lmao

The problem is it was their new boss added just before release. In beta it used to be a diferent boss for this shells.

Thats why its so unbalanced.

Uuuuugh, I'm at 80%, maybe 90% if generous. There's definitely RNG in this one but it's not as bad as you said (20% winrate auto)

And Lily with 330 speed but was able to do it since 314ish

Most important thing for this comp is Viper gets to S3 before first mob goes

If the mob goes first and silences Viper, run is basically over

Most of my losses are because Yeli gets silenced

Else silence will kill you

Vice and Xiada are just how you'd normally build em

Lingluo fast and Supernova but after Gachi

My auto team still loses to Yeli/Lily silences sometimes so gotta figure out a way to replace Val for a cleanser. Honestly might try Gachi. When he's 6* and max S1 lol

I use a fast Lily so it might be slightly different but I think it was somewhere around 260-270 where Viper outspeeds the mob. I can't remember if that's with or without Lily

it's around 290 speed minimum to outspeed all enemies on Rengokutsu

because he has a fast lily he can pull the slower 260-270 Viper above the silence mob with the speed buff, but the closer the Lily is to the 290 mark the faster the other units have to be to achieve the same result

For people who are not blessed with a Lily and invested on Rahu and Holden instead, there's this team I'm currently running right now. It's only at around 40-50% win rate. I'm being sustained by Lingluo and the artisans. Rahu and Holden are my DPS. Rahu 4-5-4, Holden 5-5-3, Gachi 4-1-5 and Lingluo 5-1-1. Can i have your inputs on how i can improve my win rate?

I figure this is besides the point of the post which I 100% agree with. But we don't know when the nerfs will happen and we have to make do with what we have at the moment.

he actually has perfect mitigation in his kit, immunity + def up + crit rate down

fail conditions are usually an unwanted silence or an enemy crit into a def debuffed unit

and you dont need Codex if the damage rotation is short enough so can run Artisan

or have an extender like Lingluo or something

Yup his biggest flaw is no cleanse, hence you want to go first...

Technically Gachi, Lily, Lingluo/Viper should be relatively safe even if 2 darks... Problem is best remaining DPS are Xiada and Rosa (blue like Lingluo/Viper). Yeli should work though. Not having Val shields hurts but I'll actually try it tomorrow and see.

i might try something with Gachi, Mia w/Codex, Kloss, Rosa w/Count in the future

i tried putting my Rosa in the traditional Diting team today but it wasn't as consistent because I can't pull Rosa above the silence mob for the first S3 with my current module sets

but Rosa definitely can clear it especially if she gets enough followup attacks

What I find unbelievable is that this is farmable content with such high RNG — we definitely have to do something about it, no matter what
