uhhh i think the droprates on the 3 set modules is better on inferno than hell and like I agree that it is frustrating because for the 12 sets it NEEDS to be all 3 modules. so the 2's are basically instant sells unless it has 4 subs and speed to roll for a broken set.

but also like i understand broken sets will just be better for awhile because obtaining a unit with 12/8/6 with perfect stats (even just main stats) will take a bit. (probably too long). and i understand.
but like I have found work arounds for this and still able to clear all like not the best gear.
you have to be smart with what you roll in order to not go broke. I think people are chasing BiS too early and not going after "useable" gear enough. Like omg this shell has harvest instead of fury gg this piece sucks. while like sure you probs want fury late game but were all in dokidoki cause speed is king and harvest drops from there. my harvest sets are way better than onslaught/fury currently.

I think they could make it so inferno either a) drops only 3 set modules or they make it so that the 12 sets specifically cant drop 2 set. and that would help frustration.
b) use the modules shop as crafting say you scrap a piece and you get 1-5 (idc what the numbers is) module shop currency to try to get another piece. (maybe make it so the piece is automatically 3 set with min 3 subs? (idc if its min 2) so it just has a chance at being good.

I genuinely think the slumba change was fine cause like im getting 1 million more training data a day (yes max refreshing) and shells are workable. could it have been higher sure but people expecting 20k per yellow cause they heard an attempt at a guess for a (legendary shell drop for Training Data, expected every 5) saw 8k per yellow and raised pitchforks when the math is like the same as 20k for this 1/5 legendary TD shell drop.

This event alone surely wont fix the economy but like i think people wanted to login first day and see 3 lattice for free and like 20 million coin day 1 which just never was gonna happen. if on average from this event we get way more coin/lattice frags even as F2P it is something... people react way too hard to the first 10 pull of boxes then go this is shit and clown on devs. Yeah the rng on them is not good but like also waiting to see what the event actually gave me over the course of the week i dont think is a problem before raising pitchforks. I still expect to get 1.5 lattice + LD summons + more coin and training data than any other "weekly event". is it enough? it was never going to enough for a majority of players quitting this week. they wanted unrealistic expectations.

As for how people say omg the dev's arent trying i mean yeah it takes some time. 2 weeks turnaround really isnt that slow. ive worked at places where to get a simple fucking dropdown added it took way longer... so yeah idk call me a clown or white knight w/e. I love A and B. I get chasing BiS should take time, and I both agree and respect that outlook. My frustration comes from being that if ur at a point where ur inferno comps are all set and I’ve gotten to inferno farming comfortably, 2matrix mods shouldn’t exist. You’ve alrdy put in the work and grinder to throw together enough 90% complete sets. I shouldn’t be farming inferno and over half of my stamina going to instant sell 2matr mods, bc end of the day they’re worthless once ur in inferno and reached that point. Like I’ll never get a worthwhile 2 matr mod. It won’t happen. Bc I’ve farmed enough endgame to never be in a situation where that 2matr mod is worth dropping a 12/12 onsl bonus or 12/12 keen bonus, ya know?
I’m not tryna shit on the devs hard work, but at this point I think everyone, myself included, has every right to feel disrespected and shat upon by XD.

i think there is some units where a 2 set matrix can be usable but it is very infrequent unless its for a speed set for an opener unit. dps hell no you'll never use a 2 set matrix after like a few days of farming the specific inferno. but the way I view those is as coin (the tiniest amount of coin )

sure people can be upset about the rng about this event rewards but I think like peoples response of omg this slumba shell is shit, they see this event as the the worst thing ever when the math really doesnt support that. (YES I KNOW IT JUST FEELS BAD FOR PLAYERS). but alas when most people get over 1.3-ish lattice and a lot of more coin from this weekly event even when they said hey we are open to changing it if it isnt enough everyone comes with pitchforks and torchs. There was multiple threads calling for Jack to be fired... like bro idk man let them collect data and analyze over the first iteration of the event idk.

The direction of the this even with gambling it all away going purple was a design choice cause a majority of players will go that route for the highroll. and when it doesnt work omg game bad. I think the dev's need to realize that you give gamblers a gambling option they will take it.
