That's only now because the game is fresh and losing a unit you've invested into feels like losing a whole limb

Losing* 1 disgustingly overpowered pick/ban PvP unit that is seen in every single match 3 months from now, a unit that isn't even that prevalent in PvE because PvE is easy in that hypothetical Etheria, wouldn't bother many people

If anything, many would be relieved that they no longer have to deal with the cancer of PvP Lily

This is how every good and reasonable competitive PvP game handles nerfs, it's a tested and true method.

But arcane knowledge to Etheria, as many other things seem to be.

Characters like Lily, Diting, and Shadow Sania, are all untouchable at the moment, and it's only because of the absolutely degenerate state of PvE.

This works in PvE games like the Hoyo games, this is a PvP game, units don't just exist, they're competing with each other, you can't just keep powercreeping things out of control like that indefinitely in a PvP game.

I dunno about the current state of E7, but last time I played like a year ago, units like Blood Blade Karin and Celine and many older units were still being picked regularly and top tier for much PvP content, because although the new 5* Moonlights were all excellent, they weren't just objectively all must pick/ban units that bypass and ignore every draft condition.

And it's the same for SW. Balance is needed for competitive PvP, and balance includes nerfs. You can't just make things increasingly stronger until everything does 10 million damage and has 800 speed like the Hoyo games do.

Obol > Fangus S3 > SSania S2 > Hoyan > Obol S3 again(right as the 2 minions get stun removed, not before) > Fangus S3 again > SSania S2 again

With that order, and if the speed tuning is right, win rate should be 90-95%

Basically only failing of RNG gets really bad and you miss an insane amount of dots

All with 180-200% Eff Acc at least
