Whilst I don't mind the nerfs and buffs that happened right now, even more so since the game hasn't even released yet, but I do take issue with some of how the balancing was done if this an indicator for the future.

  • Minor problem, I think the Kloss "buff" is at best a sidegrade when I read it and it's dishonest to categorize this strictly as a buff (due to the color coding of buffs and nerfs). For future changes like this, I recommend using a different color to indicate this is a tweak and could result in a minor buff or nerf.

  • Furthermore, I hope the development team can at least spare us some thoughts on why certain things were buffed or nerfed even for the must mundane reasons. It helps us understand where the balancing team is coming from when they make certain changes and is easier for us to give feedback to why that kind of balancing was warranted or not for those reasons.

  • Since the SRs were toned down overall, I was hoping that you all would look at some of the other overlooked SRs to buff to become more usable. That didn't happen and I was slightly disappointed, but again, the game hasn't released yet, so it's not too big a deal. I would just like some buffs to SRs in particular because buffs always feel better than nerfs.

  • Lastly, I dislike the indication that SSR LD units are free from any balancing, while the R/SR LD units are completely fine to be toned down. Surely with such a overarching spread of numbers being toned down, the current LD SSRs could have also been toned down. I understand the underlying reason to why none of them were touched, but there are ways to cut down their power without making it so they aren't still great units. I would prefer it so it doesn't seem like the gap between RGB SSRs and LD SSRs will get wider whenever any of RGB even slightly encroach LDs in power.

They shouldnt have nerfed Srs, I dont understand why so many people complained about them... It's so weird to want SRs to be nerfed. Its good if SRs r in the meta, makes it easier for everyone

Where in the post did you target just point 4? You just made a wide spreading statement that did not clearly target anything.

I mean sure if the LD SSRs got nerfed last patch, does that mean they shouldn't have nerfed them again? I will concede that I worded it badly that they never got nerfed before, but I think that with their level of power, they were warranted a round of nerfs as well when they were targeting things that were good in the last beta.

the post just uses feeling and vibes as usual, they disagree with the balance patch and instead of looking at what the balance patch was actually for, come up with their own narrative/agenda of what the balance patch did

like its pretty obvious balance patch was aimed to tone down turn manipulation as well as to set power levels across different rarities so powercreep is slower to come into the game

but overtime, I believe SR units will be little use at end game, especially after playing the game for a while
