I down voted this because:

I feel like climbing in PvP should have some incentive. A high number of players will "HAVE" to do pvp - even the PvE players for some rewards i.e shop resources etc.
It ends up being rewarding to be active and play the game. Even f2p players like PvP and if you farm you will climb.
Getting a skin is why people play PvP or ranked modes i.e look at games like LoL, SW etc
Rewards that are exclusive allows players to have an ambition to climb, which makes the game challenging increasing the playability of a game. (Game Theory) explained in a simple way.

Honestly there is more reasons as well but I feel the above is a good summary of why I downvoted (Also there is a long Thread above so I am 100% sure I may have said something that has been said before, however I have not read the Thread these are my bias opinions)

make the skins more quality pls atm its jsut recolours and not worth the money i dont want to disrespect the work but its feeling kinda underwhelming to buy just recolours (example in in the pics) make them more quality and more people buy them
