Hey Fighters!
Once again the maps you all cooked up were wild, and seeing your sketches turn into full on levels was incredible. We’ve been peeking through everything you made, and after going through them all, we finally got the Level Contest Top 5 in no particular order:
This map is symmetrical in that classic SB way, but packed with movement tricks everywhere you look. Honestly one of the coolest, cleanest looking maps we’ve had so far. You’ve got tons of vertical spots to play with, super easy lane swaps, big open areas for snipers to cook, and just enough tight choke points to keep fights spicy. Basically, you’re never chillin’ for more than like 5s on this thing.
Another symmetrical map, and the center? Super risky, you’re basically on display. The bottom half is a death trap, so staying up high is key. Lose your height, lose your advantage. Side lifts and jump pads are your best friends to get back in the action fast. Basically, it’s all about aggressive close range fights at the top, and anyone messing up their movement is gonna fall hard.
A floating arena over a city skyline, stacked in 3 levels that make vertical movement important. The center fight spot has a big tree and some tall, wing like rocks that block sightlines across the map. Jump pads on the lower floating islands let you pull off surprise attacks or save yourself if you’re about to fall. There’s a lone platform at the bottom middle with a teleporter which can port you straight back into the action top mid!
Basically Pacman’s OG Level 1 mashed into SB. You’ve got tight, neon blue corridors everywhere, so expect crazy close range fights. The center’s the classic “Ghost House” spot, great for team face offs or spawns (even though leaving the spawn may get a bit chaotic lol. On the sides, warp tunnels let you zip across the map to flank or bail. Fair amount of banter to be had!
It’s all about vertical fights and risky moves. It’s symmetrical, with a giant central shaft and twisty tunnels on the sides. The bottom’s a huge lava pit, so staying high is big unless you wanna go bye bye. Tight corridors mix with open spaces for some wild aerial action, and jump pads and floating platforms help you get around from the watery lower areas up to the peaks. A lot of time invested in this one!
We’ve finally managed to go through every single entry, and let me tell you, it wasn’t easy picking favorites because you guys really brought your A game. But the hard work is done. Enough of my rambling; let’s get to the good stuff. Feast your eyes on the final results and the prizes coming your way:

Also, we’re frying up a Verification process for all maps that want to make it into Matchmaking. The first bunch will be dropping soon, and just so you know, it’s not just contest maps, this includes anything from our whole Level Hub. So keep making your amazing maps putting in your magic touches, and who knows, you might see yours in matchmaking next!
