Personally, I would be happy to see more bullpups, PDW’s and sub guns in the game, one such being the DT MDRX. The MDRX is an American bullpup rifle, chambered for 5.56x45 or 7.62x51. Aside from caliber, it has 2 substantially different formats as well, its full size offering, and the subcompact offering.

It would definitely be a bit a variety for the loadout options we have currently.

The XM29, K11, and a prototype of the PAPOP

Basically chopped down service rifles smacked onto grenade launchers

Originating back in the 80’s to increase the combat effectiveness of a single infantryman

However, as you can imagine, it didn’t work out, for reasons which you can also, probably imagine yourself just by looking at the thing.

Bulky, expensive, more complex logistics, maneuverability, etc etc

Through the idea, and the program. We’ve gotten to see how different countries approach the concept, some certainly better than others.
