#The difference between shooting stability while in motion and while standing still

I have played many VR shooting games and I believe that in order to have an advantage in shooting mode, most games would choose fully automatic weapons. There are two key issues: first, in semi-automatic mode, there is a trigger reset required for continuous shooting, but most games do not have this trigger reset . This means that semi-automatic shooting will suddenly stop or have a very slow rhythm, which is a problem. The second issue is that the gun recoil while moving is the same as when stationary. As those who have fired real guns know, the recoil of a firearm is not as uncontrollable as in the game, especially when stationary. The main reason is that your feet do not need to leave the ground and are establishing a support point, which provides great stability to the body. However, when shooting while moving, in addition to some body movement, the feet leave the ground and lose the support of the ground, resulting in weakened control over the recoil. However, body shake varies from person to person, so it is not discussed here. Currently, games do not adjust based on these issues. I believe that distinguishing between the recoil of the gun while stationary and while moving and improving the reset point of the trigger will make the shooting experience and game feel better. https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/trigger-pull-and-reset.jpg

Shut up nerd I’d be pissed if I put my laser on a dude and miss because I was moving. Let a game be a game. Go touch grass.

Adding bullet spread while walking is stupid, however making it harder to aim/shoot it whilst moving would be best

With unnecessary shake that’s lame and would be incredibly frustrating again to your whole head shake shit. Inputs and behaviors should be as close to the physical inputs by you and the controllers.

Try..... actually walking in vr while aiming. No thumbsticks. Use your feet.

But it’s vr bro. I’m also a dude who can actually shoot on the move. Your not gonna convince me this is a good idea

Try hitting a moving target at 55m while on the move...

#

also, we arent talking about "cant aim at all", we are talking about making it slightly harder to aim without making it impossible

Try hitting 55m in vr on the move. Still sounds lame.
