you hate something but your not sure why you hate it? lol

#

I see?

robust goblet
#

i mean its got a name

#

nearly everyone on the planet knows the name smith & wesson regardless of their familiarity with firearms

slow sky
#

They also don’t have much use with militaries to my knowledge

proud blaze
#

I wouldnt mind it, but not sure they're will be copyright issues aswell

#

then again I dont really have a deep understanding when it comes to copyright in games

Well ofc law enforcement

Austr🤮lia*

i dont think its too niche or unconventional to be completely out of the question to be used by sf in real or fictional scenarios

slow sky
#

I just don’t see any point in adding it to the game

robust goblet
#

its unique and adds variety

slow sky
#

It definitely isn’t unique lmao

robust goblet
#

unique as in theres like 2 games on imfdb that have it

It does the same thing as a Glock or a 320. Double stack 9mm pistol

slow sky
robust goblet
#

not what i meant

proud blaze
#

the devs have already said they would add variety in the guns, so its ultimately up to them

slow sky

#

no matter if it doesn't have a point

robust goblet
#

i'd say that the rarity to see it in media itself is a reason to have it represented

slow sky
#

Sounds about right

robust goblet
#

i dont think guns not in active service are out of the question seeing as the 2011 in #🛠dev-updates has never seen non LEO service but i could be wrong

slow sky
#

its also just a more interesting pistol than an m&p

robust goblet
slow sky
#

I dont have anything against it and it isnt a particularly bad pistol but its just so uninteresting

robust goblet
#

i mean i could say the same about the p320

slow sky
#

p320 is actually in service tho

robust goblet
#

yeah

slow sky
#

and you can switch more parts around (to my knowledge i may be wrong but if i am im sure the pope will correct me)

robust goblet
#

i dont think there is a point in talking about this until a dev responds seeing as none of us can determine whether or whether not they want a gun to be in service before they add it or not

slow sky
#

true

This discussion feels a little too dragged on just to say that the gun is too "boring"

robust goblet
#

it looks like if smith and wesson made a double stack 9mm pistol 🤯 🤯

#

It would be interesting to have something different from what is always seen in all the games on the market

#

Although honestly I'm not a big fan of pistols, there are times when I only carry the rifle

robust goblet
#

thats about the only reason i suggested it (and i think it feels nice irl)

Don't take me seriously when i talk about pistols, I really don't care what pistols the game gonna have, I just want use something that is reliable when I'm in trouble (Google translate)

Grip ergonomics of the M&P series are second to none, doesn't matter what your overall opinion is of the line itself. If you pick it up alongside a P320, Block, I mean, Glock, H&K VP9, FN, or whatever other handgun of the same class, the M&P feels the nicest in the hands by far. But yah, don't think any militaries use it, so that's why they don't really show up in games like these
