I think it is a good idea to have the release for quest delayed. People who play pcvr say they really like it and then when it gets released on quest quest players will be excited because of the support it got on pcvr. Where does it take anything away? If devs wanted they could still make games for just PCVR. Fact is quest made it viable to create VR games in the first place.

Although the quest is nice and all, I'd much prefer a dev team making a game like this with pc vr in mind to, you know, keep it in mind and not juggle it for both. PC vr is in serious need of an actual good tactical shooter that isnt ruined by the quest like cough cough onward cough cough ah, sorry, had something in my throat.

Please dont take this the wrong way, but I highly doubt it. Downpour really screwed their pc playerbase for a downgraded mobile version. And unfortunately without taking crossplay away and continuing where 1.7 was, onward will never reach those glory days. As of right now it's a gutted experience of what it once was.

but that wasn't my point that quest has or does not have good games. my point was i want a tactical shooter for pcvr stay focused on the pcvr version rather then stretch it across pcvr and mobile vr. ik quest has some good games, my mother owns one. but after onward got cucked, id prefer to have a good non downgraded tactical shooter for pcvr is all. besides, wouldn't it be good they focus on both versions separately? that way both versions have their strong suits and not have anyone displeased? its a win win really. well, loss for those who want crossplay but thats the only loss i see currently.

First off we’re the reason Facebook sorry meta has such a chokehold and such power in the market. Second we cause game devs to cater to us and change good features in games. We allow Vr to come to so many that games like onward have become Arcady shooters instead of a tactical shooter.

For the devs, when they release the game on q2 they’ll probably see a 100% revenue increase if not more than pcvr. There’s just so many more people out there that aren’t willing to fork 500+ for playing vr just to dip their toes in. If you don’t want your game over saturated with kids, just start a Reddit/Twitter/Instagram/ Instagram page catered to adults finding other adults to play with. Similar to the XBOX system.

I think you miss the point though, essentially it´s about what the devs want. And we can be happy that the want to support PCVR first.
SHOULD the devs decide to change plans to a quest focus later down the line, I dont think anyone should be surprised bc that´s simply where the money is. And money isnt a bad thing as many want to believe.
